Throne of Claws (Book one of Dragons and Wolves)

Throne of Claws (Book one of Dragons and Wolves)

Maybe they'll finally accept me. Mae stared at me with admiration in her eyes and ruffled my hair. “Your imagination is wild.” she chuckled. “You made me read all those big books in the library. I read somewhere that the sun can grant you powers.” I quipped. Mae tipped her head back and laughed. “Oh, dear Eloise! Just what books have you been reading.” My brows knit in confusion at her amused expression. Mae always insisted on reading every book I saw. She says the most power was hidden in books, that you can discover anything if you read hard enough. When we weren't training, she made us spend all our time in the library.

Fated To The Alpha Masters

He places the stack on another empty table. "Here you go, Miss Anna. If I may advise you, I suggest starting with this book here," he points to a red book with gold lettering. "It's about the division of the packs. Then go to this book here," he points to another book with a green cover. "This one is about the old kings and the once-powerful Luna of Mooncrest, and then the rest is up to you." Powerful Luna? I give Zahir a sincere, enthusiastic smile for his tips and dedication in fetching all these books for me.

The Alpha’s Dionesa

The Alpha’s Dionesa

A grand chandelier hangs from the high ceiling, casting a warm light. In the center, there are mahogany tables with velvet chairs, perfect for reading. A fireplace with an ornate mantel and a large painting above it adds to the cozy atmosphere. Tall windows with heavy curtains let in natural light, and a plush Persian rug covers the floor. I ran my hands across the shelves, my fingers came to a halt in one specific book. “Midnight Howls.” A famous book by Orin Darkhowl. According to Thalia’s brother Talon.

The Alpha's Babysitter

The Alpha's Babysitter

Stuffed animals lined the shelves, their button eyes twinkling mischievously. Theo's small hands eagerly reached for a stack of picture books, their pages adorned with whimsical illustrations. Hazel's voice carried a melody of excitement and anticipation as she read aloud, bringing the characters to life. Theo's eyes widened with each turn of the page, his imagination taking flight. As the story unfolded, Hazel's voice rose and fell, painting vivid pictures in their minds. They journeyed through enchanted forests, where talking animals whispered secrets and magical beings danced in moonlit clearings. Hazel's voice was a gentle breeze, carrying them away to far-off lands filled with endless p

the book opened again to that exact page, and I screamed a little. “I’m going to prove it to you,” I said to the book like I was talking to an actual person. I read one of the spells, stretched my hands towards the shelves.” Phasmatos Motus Liber! Bring me the book I want. Phasmatos Motus Liber! Bring me the book I want.” I said it again, but nothing happened. “See, I told….” I was cut off with a book flying towards me and landing in my hands.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

I’d have gladly walked into its yawning gullet at that moment. “It’s a very interesting book, Doon,” continued Maurice. “It’s the story of Muad’Dib, the mouse that hides from the sun and travels in the cool night.” “Sounds a bit boring,” said Flossie. “Do you think we could delay this week’s Book Club until we get out of this mess?” I requested in my most reasonable voice. Stay calm, wait for first light, and then make our way back to the lake, possibly to drown myself and get it all over with. “Just keep quiet and don’t make any sudden movements.”

Black The Origin

Black The Origin

A book that he found at his father's old library hidden in the basement of the Palace. "Alkhun, it's time to eat." The wind blew once again, and it flew sakura under his bed. Under it was the book he had been keeping for years. He walks past it and headed outside the room where Pamela was waiting. "Let's go..." As they enter the hallway of the Jaiden Castle, Alkun knew it has begun again. The piercing gazes of immortals poked him from face to toe. Criticize all of his movements, with hostile gazes full of hatred and disgust, switching back and forth.

I asked with little curiosity. A boy like him shouldn't be tied to the Temple. "No, another item will replace its position. But no worries, I love my job." The book had a sorcerer’s wand coloured violet on the cover. A blue smooth bookmark was attached to it. The book's edges looked like silver but felt like liquid mercury. "You can take the shortcut at the end of this room." "Thanks," I mouthed out. I walked to the other end of the room and placed my hand on the wall, waiting for something to happen.

There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Wolf Mountain (Book 2 A Wolf Affair Trilogy)

I mastered that with surprising efficiency, so we moved on to shifting my blood and body scent. He produced viles containing the scents of most of the animals on Wolf Mountain and had me match that scent with my body. I was better with the mammals than I was with the fowl or the rodents, but he was eventually satisfied that I had them all down well enough to be able to fool a werewolf who was looking for a fairy. I was surprised to discover that we’d spent all day working on my lessons. We’d worked through lunch, so, by the time dinner time came, I was ravenous.
