Grim Reaper's Bride

Grim Reaper's Bride

I echoed, staring into his haunting eyes. “Yes. The balance between worlds is off-kilter, and there are few humans left that tread the thin line between the mortal and spiritual realms. It's those walkers that have served as humanity's links to the divine for centuries. Shamen. Priestesses. Prophets. Witches. Their ranks have dwindled, nearing extinction, replaced by Science and the Material God. A crumbling wall cannot stand for long. Man grows corrupt and fouls the earth that feeds him. Belief is dwindling, and respect for the land is consumed by greed. Man runs out of resources, water, fuel. Civilization is unsustainable. It's high time for the demons and spirits of strife.”

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

Although many religions have different worldviews, they all invariably mention one concept, and that was the Degenerate Age of Dharma. To put it in layman’s terms, these religions believe that the continuous development of human beings had gradually reduced the interaction between human beings and nature, heaven and earth, and the universe, thus widening the distance between human beings and God.

Mated To My Captor

Mated To My Captor

"At least we tried to save our people from slow extinction instead of sitting back and watching them fade." Cassidy stared at me, something like fear flickering across her features. "You really believe that, don't you? That this is necessary." "I know it is." I stood, pacing to the window. Outside, the compound sprawled in organized precision, barracks, training grounds, administrative buildings, all of it humming with pack life. Life that was slowly, inexorably diminishing. "You've seen the statistics. Fewer successful shifts every generation. More genetic defects. More human-wolf hybrids born unable to transform at all. We're dying, Cassidy. Not quickly, not dramatically, but we are absolu

The Mafia Lycan's Obsession

The Mafia Lycan's Obsession

The Prince’s sorrow weighed like a stone in his heart, and, sharing his mind, the warriors caught a glimpse of the enormity of his pain. The wind moved gently through the crowd, ruffled hair with the touch of a father’s hand, gently, lovingly, brushed a shoulder, an arm. His voice, when it came again, was achingly beautiful. "I have seen the fall of our people. Our women grow fewer. We do not know why female children are not born to our couples, but fewer are conceived than ever before, and even fewer live. It is becoming much more difficult to keep our children alive, male or female. The scarcity of our women has grown to a crisis point. Our males are turning into evil beasts, and the evil

“I know deep down you know this is the only way and we have to kill them. They should have never been in charge of species they know nothing about. I am not entirely sure how they became.” “The humans, they want to control us,” “So we go to war with the humans,” he smirked. “Although killing them would be pointless because they breed so easily and they have more population than we do.” “Of course they do, the Council put us in a decline for a reason, I don’t even know if it was because of the humans, or because they liked that power so much,” I said looking out the window. “We need to increase our numbers before we even consider taking on the humans. You know they have those weapons that can

Bestie's Alpha Brother

She paused, pursing her lips as she seemed to search for the right explanation. “You see, in the human world, so much of the natural world has been tainted—by pollution, industry, overhunting and deforestation. It’s sapped the wild creatures of their primal essence over generations. Made them little more than unthinking beasts guided solely by instinct.” I nodded slowly, following her logic even as my mind raced to catch up.

Never Alone

Never Alone

“They survive because they fight for each other. Not for systems. Not for convergence.” Silver-black energy pulsed beneath his skin. “That is why humanity still matters.” The Null appeared suddenly behind them as reality distorted around its form. “Humanity matters because it remains unresolved.” The Hollow King laughed softly. “You really cannot think beyond classification.” “Classification prevents collapse.” “Classification created collapse.” The argument echoed above the battlefield while entire fleets burned across the fractured sky beneath them. Ethan barely heard either anymore. Because something worse had begun happening. The voices were returning. Not distant civilizations this time

“We are here to debate our own.” Screens around the room glowed with images: satellite maps showing synchronized weather systems, global communication networks moving in rhythm, and energy grids pulsing as one. The world was stable. Unnaturally so. Markov continued, “Since the Pulse’s harmonic integration began, human aggression metrics have dropped sixty-three percent. Violent crime nearly halved. Environmental restoration has accelerated without direct intervention. But—” Her voice faltered as she gestured toward a new slide: Population Birth Rate Decline—3% in Three Weeks.

The Human

The Human

Kohn says as if he is talking to a teenage pup. I growl to show my displeasure, but even to my ears, the growl sounds weak. "It's how I have always kept the of age females in line. But after the anger faded and my instincts vanished, all I could focus on was her crying.....Why the fuck did I get a human," I snap, and he shakes his head. "The human historians have a very believable theory for that question," he replies, and I raise my eyebrow for him to continue. "They believe the more animalistic a wolf is, the higher the chances they will be given a human. They believe it's the Goddess trying to restore our humanity," Kohn explains, and I roll my eyes.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

If the people were ruined, the nation would inevitably collapse. The heavens had eyes, and nature followed its laws. What set humans apart from other creatures was their ability to defy the heavens as long as they believed in miracles. But now, it was clear that, in this regard, they had fallen far behind. Around them, there was more calculation, moral decay, the pursuit of money, and pride in interfering with others. They no longer believed anyone would help them.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!
