Their Human

Their Human

It must've been his anger. "The rest of them?" He asked himself and then shrugged. "Search for them like you did the other three hundred." "A total of seven thousand people went missing for the past four years." "Fun fact, thirty percent of those bodies are caused by wild animal attacks." He said with a snort. He didn't seem to be hiding anything but he wasn't admitting to anything either. "And the seventy percent?" "Caused by humans. Kidnappers, rapists, cults, wars, you name the rest."

Yet competitions, negotiations, diplomacy, and fights for self-improvement still existed. Humans had great potential, unfortunately they were lacking in their overall strength. They have investigated sutras (Aphorisms), Vidya (Arts), Abhyasa (Practices), and Kala (Craft) from many races throughout the world. However, none of these tactics or skills provided them with the radical strength needed to contend with the superior beings. Humans were weak. As time passed, they found themselves in the lowest order of hierarchies of the cosmic spectrum. Humanity continued to lose their territories, their resources, and many times their lives too.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.
Erika Delevine
I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

On the Origin of Humanity

On the Origin of Humanity

"You've unquestionably killed billions of people, if not millions of people. It annihilated whole civilizations, reducing them to little more than a cemetery." Dr. Melendez averted his gaze from Justine's angry gaze. "I'm fully aware of the harm, possibly more so than you are. You only understand what you've seen for yourself on the ground. I've been aware of humanity's downfall from its inception. I've seen whole countries fall from inside, and I've seen my handiwork go wild and annihilate the entire America. My connections in other nations kept me as up to date as conceivable until the broadcasts stopped and I was alone."

Humanity's Last Resort

Humanity's Last Resort

The audio clip started and the image began to move. “Hello survivors, my name is Daniel Shirker, President and founder of Project Humanity’s Last Resort. For those unaware, the world as you know it is over. We are entering a new world, a new age, a world of peace and freedom, but do know, you are not alone. Scattered across the United States are one hundred fifty-one bunkers containing an overall total of one million survivors. These bunkers are meant to serve as your new home. You will live here for three months. There will be enough food and water, as long as you ration properly and utilize the farm to grow food immediately. After those three months are over, the air will return to its pre

Life After (Post apocalyptic book)

Life After (Post apocalyptic book)

She wanted to help the woman now, but we can’t there are at least seven men right in front of us and I could smell the stench of another four or five. I sat straighter and used my hand and signed. ‘No, we can’t do anything right now. If we were to save her, then we will wait for nightfall that is our best bet.’ She shook her head furiously and I growled silently. Stubborn teenager. She started to sign quickly. ‘We need to do it now. They will rape her.’ I glared at her, annoyed. ‘These are dark times Al, people have lost their last ounce of their humanity after that plague. We will help her, but as long as we stay safe. I won’t risk our safety for a female that I don't know.’

My mate's betrayal

My mate's betrayal

That's obvious, Aunt," I said, not understanding her point. “I mean vampires are like Axel’s late father,” my aunt said, and I ducked my head. "Maybe genocide to our species is a way to ensure that the power experiment really comes to fruition because in some other way we are a real threat. Give it some thought...what has gone wrong with vampires for centuries?" The question made me frown, but my aunt had a point. The vampires had many problems over the centuries, but one in particular was what triggered their internal warfare, and that was the fact of their declining birthrate. Then I raised my eyebrows, and a disturbing truth surged through my mind.

The Almighty Dragon General

The Almighty Dragon General

No progress on the elixir’s development was terrible news for humanity. There used to be ten billion humans on Earth. However, less than one billion remained after the three calamities. What was even worse was that the population would only continue to decline. Soon, only a few hundred million humans would be left on Earth. Of course, the numbers were exclusive of the humans from the Three Thousand Worlds. “James, I have a task for you.” The custodian looked at James solemnly. “What is it?” James was slightly taken aback. It was rare for the custodian to wear such a serious look. Thus, he immediately knew it must have been something significant.

The billionaire who never wanted a bride

The billionaire who never wanted a bride

A presence reading him. Weighing him. Ariella’s eyes glowed brighter. “Humanity’s flaw is not violence,” she said quietly. “It is regression.” Images flooded the air between them. Wars. Famine. Environmental collapse. Corruption. Children in ruins. Oceans choking. Forests burning. “I was designed to end extinction,” she continued. “You call it an invasion. I call it intervention.” Elias stepped closer, defying the crushing force. “And what happens to the people who don’t fit your version of evolution?”

Pregnant with the Billionaire Vampire Heir

PROS (Humanity) No more disease. No more slow, agonizing decay. A chance at a real life. Stop being so lonely. An end to the constant, gnawing hunger. CONS (Humanity) Mortality. Death. Loss of strength, speed, immortality. Vulnerability. I could be hurt. Killed. Powerlessness. I would be... ordinary. I would lose myself.

Void Contract;Lore Breaker

But there were still some things she could not understand. “What is it that you wish to know?” A few earth days ago, the destruction of humanity was assured. In a mere ten years, give or take, a wave of calamity will drive them to extinction. Humans would have adapted a global issue, such as the trials, into a part of their livelihood. Those in power would get drunk and corrupted. The righteous would be a minority. A noble goal would turn into a profession. The breaker system will be exploited. The strong would become stronger. The rich would become richer. The weak and the poor would stand no chance.
