POV Anastasia I barely had the door open when Delilah ’s voice cracked through the apartment like a siren. “Oh my god, you got fucked!” I froze, one hand still on the knob, the other clutching my bag like it could shield me from her judgment. My whole face went up in flames. “Delilah !” I hissed, slamming the door shut behind me. “What the hell?!” She stood in the kitchen in mismatched socks and a hoodie that said Chaos Energy, holding a half-eaten bowl of cereal like it was a mic she’d just dropped.
