Hunter X Hunter Wing Novels & Stories

The witches closed in, their laughter echoing like a chorus of nightmares. Something inside Aqua snapped. A surge of dark energy, unfamiliar and terrifying, welled up within her. She felt her pendant grow hot against her skin, the clear crystal turning black as smoke. The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

But how many innocent lives would be lost if we went to war with the hunters? Shaking my head, I reach up and rub the puckered scar where the wound had been. The bullet must have been dipped in wolfsbane as it was taking too long to heal. Even with silver, once it was out of the body, healing took very little time but it had already been a week and the scar bothered me as much as the strange girl standing in the clearing.

“We will help however we can. The guild has already broken their word, and you are a pack Delta. You’re bound by oath to keep your word if you give it.” “Don’t remind me,” I grumbled as we continued checking cells. I blinked as I opened the next cell to find double occupants. A lanky angel with brown hair and pale green eyes was pinned by his wings to a wall like a lepidopterist would pine a butterfly. And across from him, a blonde demon with golden eyes similarly hung on the wall to Jesus on the cross. “Aidan! Isak!” A weak brunette vampire I know wasn’t part of Toño’s clan pushed through to try and get his friends down.

The name Swan — once known as Jenna — dropped like a stone into the group’s silence. “I wouldn't put it past him to kill any of us just to keep it quiet,” Ivy hissed. “And you’re still standing here worried about where we’re going?” Mama G looked down. Domina’s lips tightened, a shadow of shame on both their faces. Then, unexpectedly, Cherry spoke — quiet, eerily composed. Her tone was steady, but hollow.

After the leaders of the village and representatives of different kinds of werewolves heard what Kasper said, they held an emergency meeting. "Did the beta leader encounter the hunter?" asked one of the elders of our village. "Yes," Flint said. "With your condition earlier it seems that the hunter is becoming stronger!" "It's because she injects something to me therefore I cannot fight her," Flint explained. "That hunter knows our weakness and I'm sure that's what she used to you to be like that!"

I had only seen Mildred and Garren shift, so this was new. Hunter wasn’t nearly as big as Garren, but he was bigger than Mildred. His scales looked rougher, and he had spikes lining his back along his spine. His talons were longer than the others, and his wings looked like they were tipped with ice shards. “Hunter is the last of his kind,” Mildred said low enough for only me to hear. “He’s beautiful. He looks like he is covered in pieces of ice.” I said in awe. She let out a laugh.

Light fell across the wing like a cold white flight path. At the door, he stopped and looked back. "Ava," he said softly. "I'm sorry." I held his gaze. "I heard you." The last light in Ethan's eyes went out. The door closed behind him, and the music in the hall grew clear again. Julian handed the demonstration terminal back to me. The next unconfirmed flight path waited on the screen. I lowered my gaze to the new route and set my finger down steadily. "Continue." On the projection screen, the formation rose again. This time, I was the one giving the command.

Alex lunged forward, claws extended launching vicious attacks while Asher dodged, his wings beating against the air. The banshee's wailing voice was a weapon in itself, causing Asher's ears to ring with pain. Knowing he couldn't take much more of it, the red-winged angel concentrated, calling upon the unrivaled magical divine power that flowed within him. A burst of light emitted from him, illuminating the entire clearing and blinding Alexander who let out an ear-piercing howl as Asher launched a conjured spear that pierced Alex. His wings propelled him forward with incredible speed.
