I cried but Darren and Celine already had their mind made up as Darren placed the gun on Adeline’s stomach. “M… mommy.” Adeline cried, staring at me and before I could blink, the sound of gunshots filled the air and the smell of gunpowder followed. Adeline’s POV The sun started setting by the time I reached home, I pull up to my driveway and turn off the ignition. I let out a sigh feeling anxious.
