"I killed Leila, Anne. I fucking killed Alpha Theo's mate." Leo said, and he watched Anne's expression, searching to see if she would judge him but he couldn't see anything like that. Her expression was of shock, and slowly he let the tears flow down his face in torrents. Anne's mouth hung open as she stared unbelievably at him, but her hold on him tightened when she saw his tears. She quickly used her hands to wipe the tears from his face, and made her hands to cup his face.
