Before I could register what was happening he pulled a sword from a sheath that was propped against a nearby rock and threw it to me hilt first. I caught it clumsily. My body falling forward under its weight. “You expect me to fight with this?” I squeaked. The weight of it dragging me down. “Did you expect a wooden one perhaps Princess?” he voice thick with sarcasm. “Welcome to the real world. One filled with blades that will cut you head from that pretty little neck.
