Novel & Cerita I Bid You Adieu

I won't stay with a man who I cannot trust to trust me. Maybe this is goodbye... Maybe I am talking to you for the last time, Adrea

"When we go to hell . . . I'll never see any of them again . . . Let me say goodbye." Adom sighed as he pulled Win closer to him. "Alright."

“Do not forget your promise, for if you will. I will never forgive you.” “I will not. Don’t worry, a promise will always be a promise. To that day, as the dawn is approaching, they smile and bid their temporary goodbye. Sky stands at the door way with both of his parents while watching his dear friend go inside his family’s car. They wave their hands for goodbye while he held himself firm and easing the longing and tears back that wanted to escape from his eyes. “Bye, bye!”

He bowed deeply. “Then I’ll take my leave, Madam.” “Go, dear child. Be careful on the road. And may your new life be kinder than the one you leave behind. Until we meet again, Felix.” “Yes, Madam.”

I think only of purpose fulfilled. Goodbye, Adrian. Win for me. Live for me. Remember me if you can. And if you cannot, that is fine too. Because I already mattered where it counted most.

Claudia pressed. “Get out of my house, bitch!” Ada screamed. “Yes I will leave! You are dead to me anyway. And you best stay away from my brother or I will make you regret it.” She spat before walking away. Ada stood alone in the yard, tears rolling down her face. She had just lost her best friend, but what hurt the most were the words that they could never take back. T. B. C!!

With that, he turned and disappeared into the night. Those three words hung in the air long after he left, heavier than the silence that replaced them. Sometimes love spoke loudest when the person was no longer standing in front of you. Adaobi coughed again, smirking as she turned to her sister. “So, Madam Amara,” she teased, her tone playful, “did you really mean it when you asked Martins to spend the night? And if yes, where exactly was he going to pass the night? In your room? On your bed? With you?” She giggled mischievously, her eyes sparkling.

I wish I didn't have to leave, especially not like this, not with you pulling away from me. I'll miss you. Theo.’

"Don't think that investing ten billion buys my personal freedom." I clenched my phone tightly, tears spilling down despite my efforts to hold them back. The hotel I booked was right next to the company. The next morning, as soon as I stepped downstairs, I unexpectedly heard Adrian's voice. "For the bridal bouquet, go with Phalaenopsis orchids. My wife likes them." My nose stung. I remembered when we were eighteen, when he planted an entire estate full of Phalaenopsis orchids to confess his love to me.

"Ensure Adam reaches home safely." The guard nodded. "Ma'am." Adam entered the awaiting vehicle. Adeline leaned in. "Tomorrow, I'll tell you stories," she whispered. Adam beamed. As the car pulled away, Adeline waved. Adam mirrored her gesture through the window. Smiles lingered. The vehicle disappeared into the night, leaving Adeline staring down the empty road. Her heart swollen. Adam's brief visit brought joy. "Tomorrow," she whispered. The darkness softened. Stars twinkled like promises. Adeline's thoughts drifted to Sebastian, Adam's father. *********************
