I’m able to move my hand, and it brushes against something warm. I open my eyes and search the area in front of me. There’s a soft, natural light flowing through the room. I can hear multiple heartbeats, other than my own. One is small and flutters quickly, almost like a little hummingbird. The other is stronger and steadier. “You’re awake.” His deep voice washes over me, causing a shiver to go up my spine.

My heart keeps beeping in my ears. I can hear my sound. Woshh... The whole Thump Standing outside, my nose filled with a mesmerizing smell when I entered the room.
