I Can T Choose Novels & Stories

She shrugged again. “It’s easier for me to cancel my things. Bettina doesn’t mind” “That doesn’t mean that it’s right. Please look at me Mary” Tenac pleaded. Mary hesitated but then looked at him.

“It’s no longer mine to give.” The imposter started to literally turn red with anger. “Also, you’re wrong,” I continued. “That version of her is *everything* to me. In that world, the most beautiful, kind, intelligent, brave, and strong woman I will ever know loves me.” I took a step forward. “And you couldn’t even hold a candle to any part of her! You are not real! SHE is real! She is what I want. I don’t want power, or riches, or to rule the world! I barely want to rule one country! I want her. That’s all. You can’t tempt me with any of this!”

This time, I’m not hoping for another empty promise. This time, I’m choosing me.

I’ve heard a saying that goes thus; if you want to make enemies, choose them wisely. I don’t believe I chose mine wisely. And I don’t believe there’s a saying like that actually… But it still makes sense because I could have chosen enemies who were less powerful and cruel so that my life’s predicament wouldn’t be as brutal. But I went ahead and did the opposite. But then again, sometimes, we are choiceless when it comes to selecting our enemies. Sometimes, it just happens naturally and we find random cruel people hunting us down and aiming to destroy our lives.
