Directing my eyes back at Miracle she looked defeated in every way, I looked at my hands to see they had started to dry themselves up, what a strange power I have. “Burn me, I want to try something,” Miracle asks while she was catching her breath, catching me off guard I moved to do just that. She didn’t hit burn but I felt her calming down, and her entire body changed from weak to fully pumped, damn this is cool.

Miranda promises. Nodding, I sit back for a moment. “Okay so I am open. Now what?” I ask Miranda. Miranda leans forward, “Let’s do a fun trick first. Focus on that paper on the table and move it,” Miranda says. “How?” I ask confused. “You focus on what you want to do, you focus on how you do it, and then you make it happen,” Miranda replies. “Like this,” she says as she takes a finger and flicks it the paper falls off the table.

“I really mean it.” She gently squeezed my hand. “You’re not alone, Mira. We’ll see this through together. Let’s just hope for the miracle.” Yeah, I knew a miracle was the only thing that could save my baby right now.
