Irina was amazed, looking at her dress. “Let me see your bleeding hands.” Lucas closed the gap between them. He didn’t need to do anything with her face as the slapping mark had already gone. “Wow…” Irina impressed, looking at her clean hands. “I’m healed.” Smiling weakly, Lucas didn’t dare telling her that her wound healed itself and he did nothing about it but cleaned the blood stain. “I knew it.” Irina exclaimed. “Magic is amazing thing.” Lucas smile turned weaker. “Speaking of magic, why don’t you or Master Nieal scare of me? Why not have me burnt like stories I heard about magic users?”

I asked. "I am not him. He is looking at me from the mirror. Look at these pieces". He said. We looked at the pieces of the broken mirror. There was the reflection of Ryan laughing in every piece. I asked him to get up. We went outside the bathroom. "What was this?" I asked Emma. "Maybe that's because of his parents. His hand got healed and the mirror looked possessed with magic". Emma whispered. "I can still hear you". Ryan said. Emma looked at me surprisingly. "Infact, I can hear all the voices coming from outside. These voices are giving me a headache. My vision. Why can I see everything clearly without eye glasses". He said.

I also plotted revenge on my enemies. Nevertheless, something different happened. I never believed in the fiction of miracles. I was the kind of guy who preferred scientific explanations to religious or spiritual ones. When the impossible happened, I was moved to retrace my stand on miracles. Seven months ago, as I angrily swallowed the tons of pills keeping me alive, my phone buzzed on the bedside table. Ignoring the furious buzzing, I dropped the glass of water and cursed. “Who the fuck is blowing up my phone this early?” Reluctantly, I picked up the phone, preparing to shout the living daylight out of whoever it was.

I was not in the mood to recall my past. “I don’t know. I don’t have any.” I replied bluntly. “Well, you could have guessed. You could have said some good things, Viv.” Miracle said. She behaved strangely. She behaved like a human. What happened to her? “Miracle, you know that I don’t like to mention my past, my family,” I said. I tried to make her realize that she pulled the strings and now the tone wasn’t melodious anymore.

Miaka’s P.O.V Gods grant favours to only those who work for it. But sometimes miracles happen. Someone somewhere gets a surprise that changes their lives forever. Sometimes it’s a pleasant surprise, sometimes unpleasant. And sometimes that miracle might as well be a curse. And sometimes, we spend our entire life debating if that miracle was actually a curse in disguise or a blessing. I’m one such miracle.

Directing my eyes back at Miracle she looked defeated in every way, I looked at my hands to see they had started to dry themselves up, what a strange power I have. “Burn me, I want to try something,” Miracle asks while she was catching her breath, catching me off guard I moved to do just that. She didn’t hit burn but I felt her calming down, and her entire body changed from weak to fully pumped, damn this is cool.
