I couldn't explain why I had this chilling feeling this hot afternoon. Freya kept ranting, but my head were filled with white siren noise. I couldn't concentrate. It was breaking me down. Suddenly, the noise stopped. I could hear everything in echos. Down to my blood pulse. I began to hear the snapping sound of a a tree cracking. That was weird. I swerved to the direction of the sound. My eyes widened in shock and panic. The sound was coming from the oak tree directly above Freya. I don't know how it happened I could see a big hole chopped off its base, but the whole tree was separated from the base entirely.

I hear the door slide and shut. I hear the gun being fired. I hear someone scream in agony. And before I grab the sound of metal beneath me whirring to life, darkness consumes me completely.

It was silent, but I thought I heard a sniffle, like someone crying. I only heard it once though, and I couldn’t tell from where.
