Nothing beat that feeling of reading a French book. I wasn’t much of a reader. I got bored easily. But if I had to choose between books and movies, I would pick books. At least books let me imagine things my own way. I walked into a small bookstore near the hotel. The bell above the door rang softly. “Bonjour,” the woman behind the counter smiled. “Hi,” I smiled back awkwardly. I walked around slowly, running my fingers over the spines of the books. Romance. Crime. Fantasy. Self-help. I picked up three random ones. All about love.

So I pasted a friendly smile on my face and spoke to her. "We have both fiction and nonfiction books, and there are a lot of genres under each. We have romance, fantasy, horror, sci-fi and the likes under fiction and we also have self help, motivation, religious, educational books and such under non fiction, so please feel free to explore." My voice was professional. "Um...what books do you like?Personally?" It took everything in me not to show my frustration. "I'm not picky with books."

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen.
