[Iris, have you made your decision? Once you leave this world, there is no returning.] The system's cold electronic voice hesitated slightly. "I've decided," Iris Potter answered without wavering. "I'm leaving." [Understood. The self-exit channel has been activated. In 15 days, you will leave this world. The exit method will be a staged death. The location will be the seaside where you once saved the male lead. Cause of death: suicide by drowning.

I lock the phone and set it aside. “If the world wants a monster, I’ll give them one and if this burns everything we built… Then let it burn.”

The world could burn. Let it.

He hummed kissing me all the way up to my jaw as I made incoherent sounds at the back of my throat. "I'm burning." I let out as I grabbed his cheeks between both of my hands and made him look at me. Maybe that way, he'll see how miserable and agitated I was. I felt like my body was no longer mine. It felt so new and it wanted more than just simple touches and kisses. "My body is burning for you Caesar. Please do anything, I don't care. Take care of it, I completely trust you." He placed a small kiss on my lips and then went back to looking at me in admiration.

Be it out of old ties or kindness, my heart softened. Just as I stepped onto the stage, the entire refrigerated warehouse suddenly went dark with a loud hum. Sunlight pierced through the walls, and the temperature inside shot up. The crowd panicked, desperate to escape, but the scorching heat outside forced them back, their faces twisted in despair.

And William… he was mine. And together… we would burn the world.

Because I wasn’t ashamed of a damn word I’d said. Not one. Let the whole world burn. I’d protect her with everything I had. Even if it meant setting fire to the sky.

With that, he disconnected the phone. Her world came falling down, her own father sold her, how is that even be possible and she felt like someone was yanking her heart out of her chest while the whole world watched and did nothing about it. A slap brought her back to reality, with clothes being torn from her body and she was completely naked in the blink of an eye.
