I Love Novels Novels & Stories

His words made me glad, but I tried to appear indifferent. "Novels." I said, and he squinted his eyes in apparent confusion. "Sorry?" "Novels. I love to read novels. My hobby." I explained, and he grinned. "I wouldn't outrightly say that my hobby is reading novels, but it is definitely part of the things I love to do in my spare time."

What differentiates us is that I was not born or turned, I'm good with sunlight and I could stay long without thirst for blood. I love getting involved with human businesses because they at least changed my boring life. A human even led me to meet the most exciting thing ever in my life, and that thing is.... Romance novels. I accidentally got it from a boy one day and now am obsessed with them. I enjoy reading them, especially the ones authorized by Jenny Alfred. I always wish to get the kinds of love she portrays in her novels. I fell in love with her books and now I really want to meet her.

“The novel’s title is Shocking Shocked, and it tells the story of a guy who was electrocuted after disclosing shocking news?” I bit the bottom of my lip. “Well... It’s one of my favorite novels.” She slapped herself across the forehead. “Dainty! We should not read novels like these. I assumed you were interested in romantic novels, so I let you read books, and then I’ll know that you’re reading about terror and murder novels?!” My mouth was closed. What can I do if I’m not a fan of romance novels? Horror, mystery, and psychological stories are my favorite, and not romance. When I read a romantic novel, my whole body convulses. They simply do not appeal to me.

She added, pertaining to her real self. "Really? Do you perhaps read novels then?" Anastasia gasps and feels like her eyes are now glistening after hearing her favorite pastime. She absolutely loves talking about books. "Yup!" She answers in excitement." "Yup...?" The scholar asks in confusion. Then Anastasia recalled what she had just blurted out and almost slap her forehead. 'Idiot.' "Oh, I mean. Yes! I love reading novels." Thankfully, and once again, the scholar did not ask any questions.

I look forward to being a well known writer like, Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie, the late legend; Chinua Achebe, Nnedi Okorafor, Wole Soyinka, Colleen Hoover, Ted dekker, Sidney sheldon, Dean Koontz and so many others. I don't think I have ever seen anyone who reads wild like I do. My love for books is out of this world, I just purely love good books, like really really good books with awesome plots. I can't be spotted anywhere without holding a novel. I was about to read one, 'Home coming' by Yaa Gyasi.

For the first time, Cathedra had someone who didn't cringe every time she opened her mouth to speak. So this is what having a friend feels like, huh? Cathedra thought to herself. One lunch break, while waiting for Diane underneath the tree, Cathedra was scribbling a draft of her first novel in her notebook. The novel contained the scenes she saw in the storybook, back in her kindergarten days. Since that day at kindergarten, she didn't tell anyone what she saw in the storybooks anymore. The thought of seeing things that other people couldn't still terrified her but she tried hard not to think about it by avoiding any book she can see other than school books and textbooks.

I love you all as I do in all the stories I wrote with all my heart on it. I hope you won't get tired and bored of reading every novel I make in the future. Thank you, guys. For those curious, yes, I am a part of the LGBTQ+. I'm proud bisexual.

There's still long hours till morning. Checking the book in his hand, he discovered it to be a novel. 'The Red and the Black' by Stendhal. After checking the description of the book, he believed it wouldn't be bad to give it a try although he is not fond of reading novels. Leo prefer reading normal books, it doesn't matter which type it is as long as there are not romance books. Most of the romance books he read in the past are rather cliche, untrue and misleading because such love in books doesn't exist in this modern day society.
