I Married My Ex's Uncle Novels & Stories

"She'd probably tell me to go back to the dance floor and forget I saw you." "And yet here you are." "And yet here I am." I looked at him. "I told you. I'm here to make the worst decision of my life. Wise decisions are for normal nights." He studied me. "What happened?" "My husband," I said. "And my sister. Together. In my bed. On our anniversary." Three seconds of silence. "Today?" His eyebrow lifted. "A few hours ago." Something that looked like anger crossed his expression briefly. "And you came here."

CASSANDRA'S POV I was left dumbfounded. My brain was still processing the fact that Alaric had announced me as his wife I could not even process the fact that he was Sinclair's uncle I stared blankly at the man who was supposed to be my ex-uncle and found it hard to believe. He looked just a few years older than Sinclair, I had no idea until today that Sinclair had such a young uncle. Several questions started to race in my mind, if Alaric knew I was engaged to Sinclair. Did he have any secret intention because I found everything fishy?

My hair was a tousled mess and I had mascara smudged beneath my eyes. "God… it was incredible," I admitted breathlessly. "Like, transcendent. But also a huge mistake. Liz, he’s my boss and my EX’s uncle. What the hell was I thinking?" Liz rolled her eyes dramatically. "Oh please. So many people sleep with their bosses. Hooking up with an ex’s uncle is a big deal. But it’s just a one-night thing, not to mention no one knows your relationship. You, my dear, have just joined the elite club of women living their corporate fantasy."

"Yes, but it'll be a fake marriage. After all, I can't just let it slide after being cheated on. I need some payback." Hearing this, his expression dimmed, but he nodded in agreement. Our wedding proceeded as planned under the terms of the original engagement. On the big day, I walked into the grand hall draped in white lace, my hand resting lightly on Logan's arm. We went through the entire ceremony, and, of course, Norris showed up with Jasmine in tow. His face was a storm cloud of emotions, his expression a mix of resentment and disbelief. I waved at him, my voice gentle as I spoke, "Norris, guess what? I'm your sister-in-law now."

His uncle had a knack for humiliating him, he would be an idiot to ignore his uncle’s provocation. If he actually thought of it, he was gaining both ways-he was ruining his uncle reputation and earning money at the same time.

It was the moment when the bedroom door opened while she was lost in thought. It was James, her ex. “How’s uncle?” James didn’t see Valeria at first and when his eyes landed on a confused woman; they both kept quiet. Mrs Stella explained to him, introduced them both and left the room. "I was sorry at first and felt bad for leaving you at the altar. But you–I didn’t know you could be such a desperate gold digger. You married my uncle who is in a coma. Don’t you have any shame, Valeria?” James spoke as he approached Valeria with a stern expression of hate. He couldn’t get over the fact that she moved on within hours.

" I explained briefly. Maya still looked at me like I was speaking gibberish. "Or…have you resigned from that? No, it's okay if you don't do that anymore. I.... "Name who?" She cuts in. A broad smile took over my face. "My uncle... his..." I gulped so hard before I could pronounce the word. "His wife. I need you to take him away until she has no choice." "Why? You want her to be yours?" She smiled, knowing that I must be guilty of something.

Quentin, eyes still on me, gave Shane the tiniest nod back. Shane and I stepped off to a quiet corner. He jumped in first. "Mirelle, is this thing with Uncle Quentin just to mess with me? You hit the bridal shop the same day I did, and now you're getting married today too? That's not a coincidence." I sighed. It actually was. He let out a sharp laugh. "You really planned this. Even faked a marriage cert. Well, congrats—you got under my skin. I can't stand the thought of you with someone else. Even if it's my uncle."

We both had similar childhoods, dealing with nightmares. “That’s not going to happen, Elena. Sierra, my wife? I can’t allow that.” I didn't even plan on getting married if not for my stupid father's will that left me no other option. All this shouldn’t even be happening in the first place. Why does Uncle Marc want to make things worse for me?

I looked at her in disbelief. “But I’m not even your biological daughter!” I replied. I stood up and looked at her. “Yes, you guys raised me, but I’m not your biological daughter!” Uncle barged in, looking furious. “I’ve asked Mr. Walker, and he has agreed to marry her,” my uncle said. I wonder what’s wrong with this Walker guy. Why is he so desperate to get married? Does he have some kind of illness, and no one wants to marry him because of it? Is that why he’s resorted to marrying a girl by force? And over a deal, for that matter? I hope not.
