Without another word, I moved closer and looked down at my reflection on the calm water.
"I see nothing," I said and sighed.
"It's just me," I muttered.
Liam appeared in the reflection, a lingering smile tainted his face.
"No, that's where you're wrong."
My brows furrowed, glancing up at him.
His grin widened and he nodded for me to look back at the water.
"Look closer," he said.
This time, I look into the reflection, and let out a little gasp. The sight of my own father and mother stood behind me with a smile on their faces, just the way I remembered. Tears sprang from my eyelids and I dropped to my knees, staring at the reflection.
