I felt something shifting within him, a current moving where no current should. Still, I did not close the book.

Inside the Archive, the shelves moved with my breath. I passed by a book bound in velvet dusk. Its title: The First Time You Chose Softness Over Safety. Another: How You Loved When No One Was Looking. I reached for a third. It burned with light before revealing its name: What You Became When You Stopped Trying to Be Understood. I wept then—not from pain, but from reunion. The guide touched my shoulder. “There’s one more,” they said. They led me to a door I hadn’t noticed.

I simply grab the books, and nod, "I-" I lose words. My mouth closed like a fish. I nod again, "This way," I glance at the stack, "Do not forget the books please." I turn away, marching toward the shelves. My ears are burning, my heart is thumping. Selene help me. Rosemary’s Pov “I will eat later…” I say softly , offering him a smile. He exchanges a look with Xavier , but I do not stay for the lectures that I know is coming. Instead I walk to the entrance and sit on the floor in a crossed legged position – my eyes fixated on the fiery red flames that almost touches the sky. I sit out there for a while , enjoying the peace of being alone. At this moment , all I ever want is to be alone. I would often feel my stomach kick me with hunger , as my nose smelt the food that was cooking but I easily turned my attention back to the burning kingdom.

Seeing the golden light, Samuel finally slowed down a little and sneered, "What? Are you willing to come out now? I thought you were going to hide for the rest of your life." "How can I not come out? If I don't come out again, I'm afraid that you have completely destroyed this broken place." the Eight Desolations Heavenly Book smiled helplessly. "Can you change your move next time? This is really stressing me out, and I couldn't wait for it all to be over. The eldest among the elders took the books from me. Others gathered around him as they began glancing through the book. They checked from one book, and then they crossed check from the two other books to see if it would correspond. If I were to be a regular human, my heart would be beating terribly by this time. But fortunately my heart wouldn't move an inch crom it's position or make a single noise. The only person that could ever shake my heart would remain Sally, except Sally, no other person, nor any situation would be capable of making my heart beat, or skip.
