Alexandre I run. The ground is soft, shifting, like soaked sand that gives way beneath my feet. Every stride costs me. Yet I continue, driven by an urgency that burns in my chest. I don’t know what I’m chasing, but I know I must find her. If I stop, she will disappear forever.
