Simone’s voice cut through the chaos, weak but fierce. “Say the words… say the incantation… Alison… now!” I stumbled, the red moon climbing high in the sky, bathing the battlefield in a hellish glow. The earth quaked beneath us. I could feel something ancient, something primal awaken within me. My lips parted. I didn’t even think. I just… spoke. “By the blood of Luna, by the light of the Chosen, I summon the power to break these chains.” I let out a howl.. raw, broken, but filled with every scrap of my soul. The ground trembled, cracks splitting the dirt.

I sighed, and it saved me the trouble of having to introduce them. No matter, a few days in the past without modern conveniences, she’ll summon me, just from how miserable she will become. When I transported her to the past and slipped a summoning stone beneath the skin of her shoulder, her misery or any threat to her will promptly summon me unbeknownst to her, and I will come to her rescue bonding her to me forever.
