Dylan opened his eyes and saw something he hadn't seen in seven years: a morning without shadows. No fire in his veins, no silver burning through his muscles, and most importantly, no nightmares. "I slept," his wolf whispered in the back of his mind, sounding just as stunned as he was. "Dylan, we actually slept." Dylan stared at the ceiling of the small clinic. "Impossible," he muttered, his voice a low, gravelly rasp. "When was the last time we woke up like this?" his wolf asked softly.

Danrious took his hand away from my mouth. "Help," was the only thing I could say, but he just fixed his glasses and grasped my hand. "Don't worry, you won't end up like them," Sir Daryl assured. I'm unsure what he means, but I fear them now. He licked my wrist, then sank his fangs into it without warning. I winced at the agony but didn't have the strength to fight it. They're not humans; they're bloodthirsty vampires. A tear fell from my eye, and I gazed up, seeing the plain ceiling and closing my eyes.

"You're, oh my God," he shouted out of nowhere, standing up and backing away. Melia stood up straight again and faced him. "What am I?" "You are... unbelievable!" he exclaimed, and it seemed that everything he had been feeling just a few minutes ago faded away to a feeling of awe. He already knows what is wrong but he still needs to confirm. He studied the young woman's wounds. There are scratches around her arms and legs. Probably from the dragging by her predators. Jones is a vampire but after years of practicing self-control, he managed to make his senses devoid of any scent. If his guess was true, then this woman's blood wouldn't affect him no matter how addictive her blood is.

His eyes lit up and his figure was finally revealed. Nadia could feel her stomach turn in knots and her heart flutter. The feeling from before came flooding back but she wanted nothing to do with it. Stop it. She thought to herself. The figure stood a measurable distance from her, fidgeting in a way that would seem he was feeling just as uncomfortable as she was. “Who are you?” Nadia finally asked. As reluctant as he was, he answered. “Damon.” He breathed, searching for her response. She didn’t say anything, instead, she eyes the doorway then the windows. This vampire had her hostage.

Dylan is on the top of Luke… his lips are so pale that he lost consciousness. Luke carries him up then faces the three. “CALL DOCTOR CAMEO NOW!” DYLAN woke up from an indistinct chattering. He is adjusting on the soft bed at Luke’s penthouse. “You are now awake,” doctor Cameo notices then Dylan holds his head. “W-What happened?” he is stuttering when he cannot recall after he faint on the chest of Luke. “Come join me here,” he said as Dylan goes to the table. Doctor Cameo recalls his face. “You are the sugar baby of Milord Luke, right?” asking in such a soft tone, Dylan shakes his head to agree.
