Author's POV Hearing the alarm sound, Dylan woke up and looked beside him. "Why the hell the girl is still here? Didn't I tell her to leave last night?" Dylan thought and looked at the woman angrily.. Taking a pillow he threw it on her face.. The woman woke up and looked at Dylan confusingly.. "Leave" Dylan told her dangerously.. "Why baby? Don't you want a second round?" The girl spoke up while giving him a seducing look.. "Kill her" Black, Dylan's wolf spoke up from inside.

"Wake up," somebody whispered in my ear. I slowly opened my eyes to find Dylan lying down on his side, looking at me. I smiled at him- memories of how beautiful last night had been- flooding my mind. "How long have you been awake?" I asked him, stretching my arms. When I did, the cover over me lowered down and exposed my breasts. Dylan looked down and growled lowly when my naked chest came into view. I moved my hands quickly, wanting to cover myself. My face felt warm, as I looked at Dylan whose eyes had darkened in that moment.

He grabbed her underwear, preparing to pull it off when suddenly the equipment room door was violently kicked open. Dylan's face twisted in surprise. Before he could react, he was kicked across the room, landing hard and spitting out blood. Upon seeing Nyla's swollen face, disheveled hair, and nearly naked body, Damon's gaze turned murderous. He took off his coat and covered her, then slowly approached Dylan. Dylan's face was ashen, his eyes filled with terror. When he saw it was Damon, he knew he was finished. Damon grabbed him by the collar and lifted him, looking like a demon from hell.

I stood between them and laid it out. "We split at Hester and Orchard tracking the wendigo. My trail was a setup. Four vampires were waiting. Coordinated, trained, not fledglings." I kept my voice flat. Reporting, not reliving. "I killed one. Smoked the others, went through a window into a building I thought was abandoned." "It wasn't," Dylan said. "Restored theater. Vampires in evening wear. A soprano singing Handel on a lit stage." I let that settle before continuing. "I crawled under a table in a private box. Aurelian walked in thirty seconds later. He knew I was there before he sat down."

Jonathan asked as she hit the ground, pausing her movements. The Vampire Prince didn't allow surprise to overcome him, and he didn't hesitate in revealing himself. Allena stepped away from the coffee table, her head tilting as she took in the first person she'd seen in weeks. The wolf looked over at her clothing expectantly, and vampire quickly waved a hand, drying them instantly.

No more fear, it was as if I was expecting him. “Who are you?” I questioned sitting upright on my bed. “I'm Lucian D'Arcanis, a vampire prince, cursed into slumber till you rescue me.” His voice is calm. “I never rescued you on purpose, it was by mistake. So why not go back into your slumber and leave me alone.” “Hahahaha! You think I would go back to my slumber? Never! My enemies shall all pay with their lives thanks to you.” “I'm I an enemy?”

Not his glowing red eyes, not his bloodstained lips, not the way he looked at me like he already knew what my pulse felt like under his tongue. “I’m sorry if I startled you, little Violence,” he said smoothly, his voice deep and steady in a way that made my chest feel too tight. “And to answer your question, I’m Dax, and I’m a vampire. Forgive my intrusion, but I couldn’t help it anymore...I had to see you.”

"You can open your eyes, babe," said a gruff voice, "You really know how to make your man fluster, huh. But more recklessness like this one and you'll be a bag of bones for sure." Upon hearing the voice of her savior, whom she initially thought was the Phoenix, Diana opened her eyes. A gasp escaped from her thin lips when her gaze met a pair of very angry bright blue ones. "D-Dylan..." Dylan's grip around her shoulders and knees tightened when she called his name in a whimper, waking the monster below his navel. 'Fuck it! This is not the right time for this!'

~Next day 6:30 a.m. Evelyn's P.O.V. Scorching rays of the sun burned my skin waking me up from my deep slumber. I squinted my eyes a little. Oh God!!! I saw Dylan hugging me while my head was on his chest and his arms were wrapped around me tightly. I panicked and pushed him a little that seem to have woken him up. He looked at me and I immediately pushed him back. I got up but my blood froze when my eyes landed on the shreds of dress which were scattered all along the floor.

He hadn't even stepped outside when he met Alona with puffy eyes. "Alona?" he weakly calls its name. "Vince, help me. Dylan just passed out." Trembling, the maiden spoke to him. Vince hurriedly ran to Dylan's place. He found it lying on the floor and unconscious. "Dylan, Dylan wake up!" he said as he patted her cheeks, but no matter what calling or waking he made he could no longer hear it.
