I Write Like Novels & Stories

Later, after she fell asleep, I opened my laptop. The blank title field waited. I typed. Until I Wrote Him. The words settled. Not hopeful. Not tragic. Just true.

I've never really felt so out of place before. -I want to keep writing.-I found myself saying.- I want more people to be able to read what I have in my head and that every night it gets into my dreams. For me, writing is living that life that I would like, you know? People read to escape from the reality that surrounds them, either because they are tired or because they are not happy with their life. I had a bit of both, I guess. I don't like my life- I hugged myself. I didn't like telling anyone about my insecurities, but he had opened up to me and it seemed fair to me- I want a wonderful and magnificent boyfriend who makes me happy. But also, annoyingly, kind of sweet. I cracked my knuckles, pulled my laptop closer, and started writing like my grade depended on it. Because it did.
