Videl.. The crossing felt like driving into the mouth of a storm that refused to break. The amphibious Breakers—low-profile, heavy-armored vessels designed for stealth—cut through the black water of the channel with a predatory hum. Inside the lead vehicle, the air was pressurized and silent, save for the rhythmic clicking of Oliver’s keyboard. For thirteen years, this stretch of ocean had been a graveyard. The energy field used to scramble navigation systems and shut down engines, leaving anyone who tried to cross to drown in the dark.

All the men left one after the other remaining the girls. "How was it?" Charlotte asked as she attended to her friend's injury. "It was terrible, Charlotte. Allen is a vampire..." "And so is the rest of them - Xander and Kyle while Drake is a white witch. Ben is ordinary." Charlotte interrupted her, filling in the space. "Wait, how did you even know?" "Kyle and I are mates," Charlotte revealed to her. "Mates?" Jane mumbled then she remembered what Red had said to her that party night regarding vampires looking for their mates or something like that.

I looked like a cartoon character after an explosion. “Fantastic ,” I muttered, rubbing my face. “Exactly the vibe for a potential criminal investigation.” I tried to remember if I’d left any bottles of water in the fridge. Maybe I could at least splash my face or wipe myself down like a war-time soldier. I shuffled out into the kitchenette and rummaged through the small fridge. Success. One half-empty bottle of water wedged behind a jar of expired pickles. It was lukewarm and probably older than it should be, but it would do.

I asked, curious. He grinned wide. “Because you were chosen to be part of the team!” I smiled faintly, a spark of old pride flickering inside. Of course they had to pick me. I had been in the academy since I was a kid—hockey was in my blood, even if my father had tried to poison it. “That’s good.” But then Blake’s expression turned sad. “What is it?” I pressed. He hesitated. “Liam is the captain.”

Kai Schneider:" I also hope my girl is like that but she is so fierce. Instead of being gentle with me, she pinches me a lot. I can't sleep because of the pain. Ouch, stop pinching me!" She pinches his arms more and she also bites his hands. " Ahhhh!!" He screams. He doesn't fight back. The more she did that to him, the more he wanted to bite her big and juicy breast. He holds on to his desire and tries to sleep more.

Then just like that she took hold of my left arm snapping it like a twig, she kicked me in the knee and sent me to the ground. Morpheous took over instantly to allow my body to heal quickly, She then turned her attention to Annabella raising her foot and kicking her in the stomach sending her flying. Raising on all four I ran towards her biting the inside of my mouth trying to stifle the pain. I ran as face as my broken body could carry me, but the force Ivy used to kick her has her travelling at the speed of light. As she was about to hit the floor my paw gave out and I fell, but she didn't fall except a shadow of some sort caught her mid air and placed her on her feet.

Dammit, I'd like to know what it feels like to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about my safety. It's so haunting. I try to close my eyes for a bit, but my wolf is restless. It's incredible how even thinking about rejecting him makes me want to tear my own eyes out. Our bodies—or maybe our souls—want each other. Who would've guessed? The Alpha heir.
