Broken bond, burning desire

Broken bond, burning desire

Not a chain. "I never thought I deserved this." I admitted. Tracing a finger over his chest scars. Ronan caught my hand. Kissed my palm. "You do. We both do. The goddess saw it. I see it now." Sleep came easy. Wrapped in each other. Mates. Leaders. Survivors. The story of Broken Bond, Burning Desire had reached its end. But our life together had just begun. Packs united. Curse lifted. Love forged unbreakable through fire and moonlight.

SPARKING THE FIRE

SPARKING THE FIRE

“Speaking of control, have you done what I asked?” Karen quickly pulled out her cell phone. Making sure the orders she asked for were carried out properly, she smiled as she read the reply from the person she asked for help. “I made sure Justin's men didn't miss the chance to get back at Sella. That's good. I still hold a grudge against that old woman!” “Good,” Celine began to settle into her seat as she leaned back. “Let me know if you get any good news.” “Coincidentally, Boodie informed me that the car that dropped Sella off was not headed for the hotel. Rather, the Horrison club in the southwest of the city center.”

Burned by His Old Flame

Burned by His Old Flame

We had also eaten dinner here in our previous life—but just as the dishes were served, Jared lured us away, tied us up, and pushed us off a cliff. Michael ordered the same dishes as last time. He asked with a smile, "Do you have the guts to eat these dishes again?" I nodded resolutely. My cold body warmed up after the meal. When I pulled out my phone, I saw more than 100 missed calls from Jared and his team members. I didn't feel like calling them, so I opened Instagram and found out that he had unblocked me. "Kaitlyn, where on earth did you go? Mom's dead! Why didn't you tell me?"

The Luna who rose from the flames

The Luna who rose from the flames

My head spun as I hit the floor, breath torn from my lungs. She loomed above me, her smile triumphant. “Not so fierce now, are you? I should kill you here. But death is mercy. I’ll leave you broken—let your precious Enid see what’s left when he returns.” Her boot pressed into my chest, hard enough to choke me. Then she leaned down, her lips near my ear. “This is only the beginning, Fireborn. You carry too many gifts, too many secrets. We will take them all.” With a hiss of smoke, she vanished.

Golden Bell

Golden Bell

Kirk demanded, looking for someone to disembowel. “Check her room. I think it’s a flashback,” Fallon supplied, dashing after his house guest. Peeking around the corner of his study with a great deal more caution than he’d approached her door, he barely saved his face as the small statue of a knight whizzed by his head. Swearing, he slipped into the room, dodging missiles as he went. “Rain!” No response. Looking around wildly, she noticed the moonlight coming through the diamond paned window and raced for it.

The Inevitable Blaze

The Inevitable Blaze

Not. " I'm really sorry." He replied apologetically. Before I could reply back, I heard a loud honk, looking behind me, there was a red audi . I was going to question Caesar's sanity for driving a red car but my mind went into a turmoil when a very beautiful barbie girl came out. She was blonde with a charismatic smile on her face. She looked sophisticated and for a moment there I regretted standing on their holy grounds. Except not... Tbc...

Broken Bond

Broken Bond

I told myself this was for her, to bust her out of the funk she’s been in lately, but were my reasons more selfish than that? I don’t have time to dwell on that question, because the next thing I know, we reach a break in the trees and the bonfire pit comes fully into view. There are more people here than I expected, lounging on old chairs and overturned logs, dancing to music or casually sipping drinks. On the far side of the fire, Chase and his friends are seated all in a row, with Levi on his right and Callum on his left. Levi’s the first to spot us approaching, jumping up from his chair and making his way over to meet us.

I feel I may say this on every comment I write, but this author/series (even the ‘standalone spinoff’) is hands down one of the best on this app. Everything is always so well written and flows beautifully, keeps you intrigued and unable to stop reading. I am so excited for more from this author! :)

I loved this entire series & this book was no exception! It was a perfect companion novel; it flows with the style of the others (overlapping stories and answering my lingering questions from previous stories), & is very well written. I finished it in two days because I just couldn’t put it down.

The Burning

The Burning

And I couldn’t shake the feeling that whatever it was, it was connected to The Burning. “I found something out while I was out there,” Ben continued, his voice barely above a whisper now. “Something I didn’t want to believe at first.” I frowned. “What do you mean?” Ben looked around, making sure no one was listening, and then leaned in closer. “One of the soldiers in my unit—his name was Carter—he died in the first wave of attacks during The Burning. But before that, he told me something… something strange.” “What?” Ben’s eyes were intense, his voice low and urgent. “Carter said he’d been in contact with someone here. In New Haven. Before the fires broke out.”

Her Boon, Her Bane

Her Boon, Her Bane

Sigourney squealed in excitement. Joslyn's eyes widened in disbelief. "Shut up! No way! That's incredible, Sig! I'm so happy for you!" Sigourney beamed, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "Thanks, Josy! I can't believe it myself. It's like a dream come true." After a few minutes of discussing her art and Paris, Sigourney's expression softened, her gaze turning more serious. "But enough about me. How are you really doing, Josy? I can tell there's something on your mind."
