Nyomei jogged up beside me. “Okay, are you sure you’ve never trained as a werewolf champion? Because you fight like one.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Lotanni laughed. “She’s totally lying. That footwork was feral.”
Behind us, a new clip flickered on the magic veil embedded in the training hall wall—Jade Ishola, flipping midair, surrounded by flame, cutting through light-constructs like a dancer with death.
