"They destroyed people's ability to be human and called it an asset." "There's more." Doc pulls up another file, and I'm not sure I want to see it. "The breeding component isn't random. They're selecting for specific traits—empathic ability, divine affinity, physical strength. They're not just creating spies, Jolie. They're trying to breed the next generation of wolves according to Council specifications." The implications hit me like a blow. "They're playing god with wolf genetics." "They've been playing god for years." He corrects. "And they've gotten very good at it. Look at the success rates—ninety percent of conditioned wolves successfully integrate into their target packs. Watching my mate and husband be the alpha he was born to be was a dream come true. Under AJ's leadership, MoonLit Haven had implemented innovative strategies for both growth and harmony within the pack. He believed in nurturing the physical and emotional well-being of every wolf, thus bringing out the best in them. Each wolf had a purpose, whether it was providing security, hunting, or tending to the young and injured. The pack thrived on a sense of belonging, where every individual knew they were invaluable, contributing to the greater good.

The beast didn’t seem to spot me as I watched in awe as the wolf’s song echoed through the night, a mournful yet enchanting melody that seemed to carry ancient wisdom and untamed longing. I stood frozen, my eyes fixed on the majestic wolf that stood at the edge of the field. The moonlight cast an ethereal glow upon its form, illuminating the wild beauty of the creature, almost making it grey fur shine. But as I continued to watch in awe, a strange sensation tingled at the back of my mind.

"Wolves aren't like humans, yet you're saying she's capable of expressing her feelings?" Strider replied, "Blue and her pack aren't like other wolves. Strider Mountain is an immortal mountain. The wolves here have evolved under the influence of Infinite Grotto. It granted them sentience.”

But for some reason he is reminded of his late mother that had fought with his father in a battle long ago. They won the war but his father lost his lover. She-wolfs are regarded as equals to He-wolfs meaning they can feed the young while helping their spouse when in short of men. It was a battle even now that their numbers are slowly decreasing because of mortals, bhampirs, mermen and creatures are thought to be myths. It was a world that mortals adapted because of the longevity tht they lived they became more advance producing science which is demonic wor

Wells skimmed through my expression and continued to explain the norms of this world. "Werewolves possessed enhanced senses. In the human perspective, only five senses are known, but not werewolves. Our kind is blessed by the Moon Goddess; a sixth sense to communicate with the mind and another with your wolf," I thought that was his brief explanation, not until he trailed further which I absolutely do not dislike. "—In this place, there is also a hierarchy to be followed. The Alpha, the beta, the subordinates, and the weakest, the omegas,"

“I watched James’ eyes wolf over as he slowly made his way to the bed. Amanda was watching him curiously as he reached for you. She handed you over, and James stared at your little face and smiled. Then he pulled you close to his chest and kissed your head as his wolf whispered, ‘I will always take care of you, my little soulmate.’ “Of course, I sought council with the elders. I knew something was going on with James when he explained that your wolf had spoken to him. I didn’t think that was possible, you were a newborn, and newborns can’t hear their wolves, so how could James? “The elders smiled and explained about sibling imprinting. They called James and asked him to explain the feeling h

Those at home, including Jayden ran off and into the woods, morphing as soon as they were hidden and running towards the rocks. Each one of them yelped as soon as they reached it. At the very top, stood a wolf so large that it dwarfed the Alpha. It looked down at them, its eyes flashing a bright red that no one in their pack had. Every wolf in the pack had eyes that corresponded to real human colours, and those colours only changed once a wolf had imprinted on a Luna in the pack and mated, after which the wolf and its new Luna switched the eye colours of their wolf forms.

Randall had imprinted on mom back when she was still deeply in love with him. Unlike the wolves, vampires could freely imprint on anyone but imprinting on wolves would only happen with their permission. And after Blade had successfully removed his mark and his mate bond with mom, she readily allowed Randall to imprint on her. Randall had dumped her after he was done with her but he linked with her many years later to use her again. He inquired about our plans and mom was not able to lie to cover for us. That was the power of imprint for wolves which had affected only her. Since Randall was a different kind, he could still mess around.

For humans who could host wolves they bonded with the beast and hoped to find another wolf to mate with, in hopes of furthering the line, but two wolves could rarely reproduce another wolf. However it was soon discovered certain humans with no wolf could bond with a wolf who already had a host and create other wolves thus, extending the species. If an imprint was accepted then they became mates and would share the power of the wolf. These pairs were extremely strong together and they also made the beast inside them stronger as two humans were more than enough vessel to allow the wolf to thrive and use its power to the fullest of its ability.
