“Yeah. They get it. And the vision—it happened just yesterday.” Imprinting was rare. It only really happened when two wolves who’d lost their mates found each other. Sometimes it was before they’d ever been mated at all. But the bond? It still had weight. Still hit hard. You could feel it in your bones. Smell it. Touch it. My voice cracked as I raised it, so I tried to calm down and regain control of my frustration. Pain blooms hotly behind my eyes and I groan and rock myself harder. What I fear the most has come to pass, I have imprinted on the wolf.
