Something within those lines kind of hurt but it was true. Ginger knew how to start conversations better than me.

This means your writing will be more eloquent, concise, and elegant than your actual speech. I exhaled, “I don’t think I can do that Clara. I already gave up on the court case, that is enough. There should be other ways to deal with my issues.” “Having difficult conversations can ease that for you.” “With Kate?” “She seems to be one of your hard triggers.
