Tangled With The Other Brother

Tangled With The Other Brother

He was too busy scrolling on his phone, too wrapped up in whatever crisis had taken root in his screen to care that his wife was unraveling two feet away. My pulse thundered in my ears. I could feel the slick press of sweat threatening my palms, hidden by the polished stem of my glass. “You’re insane,” I muttered, anger lacing through the cracks in my whisper. I reached up, already moving to pull out the airpod, desperate for the silence, desperate to cut this invisible chain before it yanked me straight into hell. My fingers brushed it, relief, sweet relief just inches away from ending this insanity before it ruined me.

She was his. “Say it,” he growled. “…I hear you.” His grip on the phone tightened. He wanted to drive back that instant, throw her against the bed, remind her she wasn’t allowed to sound that fragile unless it was for him. But instead, he ended the call. If he didn’t, he’d lose all control. --- The rest of the day was chaos. His men whispered among themselves—Boss was impatient, terrifying, mood swinging like storms. Nobody dared breathe too loudly in his presence.

INSANE FOR YOU

INSANE FOR YOU

Mirana chuckled and spoke "Yeah exactly like Ace after watching you, Emily. " Emily furrowed her brows and uttered "He's 24×7 horny and in a perverted mood, Mirana and now look he's messaging me, " Emily's phone started vibrating. "Let's go. They all are waiting. " Inessa swallowed and again took a glance of her from the mirror which made her heart beat accelerated. "Come on, Inessa. Show Sinister Rodriguez that a wife is the real boss, no matter how deadly and dangerous the husband is, "

The Timekeeper Dynasty Series- The Wolf Princess

The Timekeeper Dynasty Series- The Wolf Princess

But, the selfish part of me would very much like to find my mate. As I lay here thinking, I can hear Maeva quietly mumbling to herself as she flips pages in whatever book she is reading under the light of her cellphone. The poor thing, her phone doesn't even have service, but she can run it on wifi so she keeps it. It's also old, one of the first galaxy phones ever made. Sure it was a touch screen, & she could put apps on it, but compared to everyone else's phone, it was a dinosaur. She never complained about anything though, she just looked at the positive side of things, like the fact that she could use her apps over wifi & listen to music.

Read this book, and tell your friends too! Uplifting story about change and growth. Very well written with such an original world and story. I’m trying to not type any spoilers, but for book 2 I’d be ecstatic to read any of the other timekeepers’ storylines. Beautiful work author KP, beautiful <3

HIS MUTE MATE

HIS MUTE MATE

His scent—cedar, smoke, him—filled my lungs and steadied me. "I'm sorry," I whispered. "I didn't know. I didn't know I—" "Shh," he said. "You don't have to apologize. You didn't do anything wrong." I looked up at him. His silver eyes were soft, tender. Nothing like the cold playboy everyone saw. "I'm a Mute Omega," I said. My voice was raw, barely a whisper. "That means I'm—" "Dangerous," he said. "Yeah. I heard."

Ex In, Me Out

Ex In, Me Out

Not anymore. He rubbed his forehead. "Babe, stop being petty. Ella's been through hell—cheating ex, divorce, raising Lucy solo. I brought them here so we could help. What's the big deal with her calling you Momma? You're scared of giving birth anyway. This is perfect." He touched my stomach, leaned in close, breath warm against my ear. "All four of us together—it'd be so lively." Four? What, does he think he can have the cake and eat it? How shameless.

The Actor's Contract

The Actor's Contract

The air smells faintly of gasoline, perfume, and something chemical, sharp enough to sting my nose. My body freezes, my pulse ricocheting in my ears. Maybe they just want the car. Please, let them want the car. Mel can snap her fingers and get a new one tomorrow. One of the infidels takes Mel’s phone from her hands and smashes it onto the ground, stepping on it as if to make sure it’s truly broken. The crunch of glass under a boot sole is louder than it should be.

The Love Game With Enemy Alpha

The Love Game With Enemy Alpha

Even from here, I could feel the power humming off her skin like static. Then the shrill ring of my phone shattered the calm. I clicked my tongue, slipping the device between my shoulder and ear as I sprinkled stabilizer into the steaming vial. “Hello, darling.” Phil’s voice. Soft, playful, and annoying in the middle of lab work. “What is it, darling? Cracked the crystal yet?” she cooed. “What do you take—” The sound hit like a missile. EEEEEEEEEEEEE! A high-pitched, nauseating screech screamed through my skull. My knees nearly buckled. My phone slipped from my hand, clattering to the ground.

Set Me Free

Set Me Free

My air supply starts getting cut off badly; I put my palms against his face and try to push off me. “Where is he? Won’t he come to save you this time?!” He grits his teeth together. I close my eyes and give up fighting feeling my body giving up on me. He lets me go and walks back to the couch and plops down it. I slide down the wall holding my neck crying silently; it feels like my neck with break and my head will fall off. He takes out a small packet out of his pocket and pours the white powder on the small table that has his phone and an ashtray on it. I stare at his phone for a while; that phone could be my escape from out of here. I watch him separate the powder into lines and snort the

this book was very sad to read, because it causes one to reflects on the evil in our society. It shows that one has the money they can buy the money they can buy the law. you turned this sad novel into a positive, can't wait to read the n.v sequel.

Mated To Four

Mated To Four

“Your eyes are black now.” “What?” I ask, feeling confused. But then I remember… this guy thinks he’s a wolf. He’s completely off his rocker and probably escaped from a mental institution or something. “They’re purple again,” Forrest observes aloud. “That’s kind of cool. I’ve never seen anybody’s eyes change colors before.” “Did you forget to take your meds this morning?” I back away from him slightly. I probably shouldn’t antagonize the crazy person. His eyes widen, as if he’s just realizing that I do, indeed, think he’s insane.
