“Home life?” I furrowed my brows, the action pulling the tape tightly on my forehead and stinging slightly. “Before the fire? It was great,” I smiled down at Hailey, then looked back at the doctor, “We had a relatively happy and normal life. I never would have suspected anything like this to happen.”
