Damian realized he'd gripped too hard. He let go fast. The pain hit sharp through my whole wrist. I looked down at the bruise already spreading across my skin, deep purple forming fast. Adams knew that despite Damian's peculiar affection for him, his sudden anger was fueled by something or someone else, and he couldn't help but suspect that person was Clara.

Jaxon and Gerald flanked him, plus three other men I didn’t recognize, and a woman trailing close behind. We all screamed his name at the same time, hugging each other in celebration.

Three days later. Damian had received a report that some drug dealers were sneaking drugs into City A. He had briefly left Evelyn at the club to deal with the situation. City A was his territory. Damian was determined to wipe out every drug dealer that was tainting the City. His dream was to have a drug-free City. He hated drugs and that was why whenever he heard of such a case, he would personally lead the mission to catch the dealers and punish them accordingly. He believed those who went against his rules and still dealt with drugs deserved to be punished severely and imprisoned for the rest of their life.

Maru prayed. "Thank you, Master!" Damian kowtowed once and immediately departed from the city. In his hands was a gift that his good master has lent him. "You shall all pay for your sins!" Damian vowed and in his eyes flowed the bloodlust of one who was denied justice for a long long time. "Can we go now, brother?" Uwyn queried after the old man left. "Yes. Let's go to that city now.
