The rider alighted and opened the carriage as humans in prison clothes came down. I was not a bad person. I had a code— I did not kill innocent people but these humans were the scums of the earth. The one that I had chosen was a sexual abuser with more than 14 rape cases and had killed every of his victims. He even assaulted his cell mate and that made him my target. I would be doing the world a favor when I actually got rid of these dirtbags. It went against every once of decency in him. After a while, he heard the names of the victims as their belongings identified them. These weren’t innocent people. They’d been wanted for various crimes and disappeared in the last months. These weren’t innocents buried here. It was people who were killed for knowingly doing criminal things. That ease his mind a little, but not much. Dying for a mistake wasn’t any better.

But I couldn't blame him for using the aurora on the prisoners.
