Forever. On a chilled January afternoon, I’d shared this dream with my friend, Biswa and my elder brother Nisim. Biswa looked baffled. He had laughed at it and said it was all because of reading Alice in Wonderland over and over again? I was baffled too, because Biswa knew so much about fantasies and dreams and visions and he laughed. I was baffled because for me dreams, fantasies and vision were the same thing. Stories.

Darren tried to recall that with a frown, but after a while he shook his head, “Sorry. I can’t recall. That dream is pretty vague. All I remember is that there was a voice that asked me to make the decision.” Amelia pressed her lips. She then changed the question, “Then where were you when that person appeared? What’s the weather like?” Darren thought for a while, then answered, “I was in a dark alley I believe, resting beside a smelly dumpster. There was heavy rain like today, but it was at night, really dark.” Amelia held her breath, “What were you doing before that person appeared? Do you have something special or someone with you?”

"Dante" He looks worried so I answer his questions. To my surprise, he carries me up to the bedroom and helps me out of my coat. I don't remember much after that but I could have sworn I heard the guy from the club calling me 'innocente'. It could have been my imagination though. Seeing as I also thought I heard my mother's voice.

“Doesn’t this seem strange to you?” Still wiping the table, Renee’s mind raced for an explanation. “I’ve heard of this before!” She suddenly looked up, feigning an epiphany. “It’s called a premonition dream. Basically, when you overthink something, your brain pieces together bits of information you already know. That’s all it is.” Her pulse quickened. She couldn’t let Carl dig any deeper. The truth about her rebirth wasn’t something she could ever explain. Chris, seemingly oblivious to the tension, chimed in, “Dreams don’t always mean something. I mean, I’ve had—”

How much of our relationship had been a lie? “I’ve been thinking, I said slowly, choosing my words carefully. “About us, about the future. There’s so much we need to discuss.” She tilted her head to look up at me, her eyes bright with curiosity. “What do you mean?” “I’ve been having some strange dreams lately, I continued, keeping my tone casual. “Dreams about someone else, someone who feels… familiar, even though I’ve never met her. It’s been bothering me.” Her smile wavered a bit, a look of doubt passing over her face. “Dreams can be strange,” she said softly, her voice carefully neutral. “They don’t always mean anything.”

“But why are you dreaming about them now?” I looked away again because again I don’t know the answer to her question. I take a deep breath and I am hoping that this interview will get over. “Why are you dreaming about them now, Helena?” She asked again. I looked at her and her sharp stare at me made me uncomfortable but I needed to fight it because I knew it. She is a demon but I am God’s angel and I don’t need to be scared of her. “Sometimes we dream out of conscience,” She said. I looked at her and asked, “Why would I feel conscience?” She didn’t answer. I know I cornered her because of my question. “I didn’t do anything wrong,” I said while looking directly into her eyes.

Her skin soft and warm against his, her breath on his chest, her hair smelled of lavender brushed under his chin. "You don't remember anything?" she couldn't imagine what he must've gone through. He shook his head, "I had a dream about it ... I think it was a glimpse of what I saw in that brief time I woke up in that room ..." he rubbed his face to wipe away the nightmare. "I don't want something like that to happen to you ... we can't risk it, your teacher is right, we have to get out of this contract." Charlie paused for a moment, she too had a confession to make. "About my teacher ..."

He seemed to be fading. “I’ll see you again, Jennah.” The buzzing grew louder. Jennah opened her eyes. Her alarm clock was going off. She reached over and slapped a hand on the snooze button and then focused to make sure she was in her room. She blew out a breath and tried to shake the fog from her mind. That explained a few things. The dream was so real, but not at the same time. Too bad, really. That man, Dominic, her mind had invented was quite nice to look at. No more chocolate caramel popcorn for you before bed, she thought as she slowly sat up.

Tears well up in my eyes. "Martha what is wrong, are you okay?" She touched my shoulder and I flinched again. She touched me, I felt it. Why does this feel so real? Was it real? Had I been dreaming all this while. Oh my God! "Mom?" "Yes sweetie, talk to me, what's wrong?" "Are you really real?" My mom and dad exchanged looks. "Ofcourse I am real" she caressed my cheek. It did feel real. "Whatever dream you had, it really got you whipped" Liam commented. Typically Liam will make jokes at serious moments.

He found it in the woman he was using as a pawn. Cyril woke up looking around the woman as his sweaty body steadily sat up on the bed, he rubbed his forehead gulping down remembering the dream he just had. It wasn't actually a dream just like his nightmare, he had lived that moment, the peace, the solace and joy he was forced to embrace that night was nowhere near him tonight.
