The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

grumbled Ryugu as he slammed his fist into his seat. “…Leader… Do you think… that the man who thwarted Saburo’s assassination plan could be a ninja from the Yamashita family…?” speculated Takeshi. “…A possibility certainly exists… However, I’ve never really met any of the ninjas from that family… Hell, I’ve never even heard of any connections between the Futabas and the Yamashitas!” replied Ryugu as he scratched the back of his head, wondering how things had suddenly gotten so complicated…

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

EJIMA

EJIMA

Anthony .O. Godwinitadoriinumakikanekiminato
She was a toothless dog, one that can only bark. "My sweet child," Ejima gnashed her teeth as memories sips out of her skin. Bozo was no longer breathing, his eyes were closed and the life in him seemed to have disappeared. "Well, well. That went well," Uche chuckled, "I just won a war before it even started." "Murderer," Ejima yelled. "Oh," Uche lifted his hands in submission, "you know you are next, right?"

Iniko: A New Beginning

Iniko: A New Beginning

He seems to be the only one who doesn’t know what his life was like before he was reborn. I lean against my father as I watch my brother suffer through his first shift. My mother and Iniko’s father, Avani, have shifted to help him through this first shift. As I watch, I feel the ground shake, and I realize Cal has returned from hunting to be here for Iniko too.

Alpha Ryu

Alpha Ryu

It was rare and could only be harnessed by elemental, rare, and strong wolves who had ki and could beat the heat produced. The only person I knew that could harness such an element happened to be Alpha Ryu, and he hadn’t drawn out a sword ever since… “Please save me…” He groaned. I looked around, scanning the area to see if anyone had seen us. Just as I expected, they were all focused on Ryu. “You have to get me out of here before he kills me.” I couldn’t see anyone holding a sword, nor did I smell any danger. Madona, who had the negation artifact, definitely couldn’t be the one since I punished her for her treacherous tongue. Who then could make a Gamma such as Kyle scared to the bone?

Little Emily

Little Emily

"Yes. He's our last option. If anyone can find Kelsey, it's him." Inishola. The name alone carried weight, a mixture of fear and respect. He was the leader of the Japanese mafia, a man known for his ruthlessness and his impeccable sense of honor. Inishola was a legend, both feared and admired in equal measure. He was tall and lean, with sharp features that made him look almost regal. His eyes were dark and piercing, the kind that seemed to look straight into your soul. He was always impeccably dressed, his suits tailored to perfection, a testament to his meticulous nature.

Very different novel from others , hard to put down as gripping story line from ex husband's and scheming mistress , which are super boring. hope the author does justice to the story line. though dying of Austin wasn't necessary..

The story was interesting but I don’t feel there was any closure. Who was the man/person Matthew? Who was he working for? It could not just be Amy doing all of the stuff? Who killed or ran Austin off the road?? How is Isabella? So many questions no answers!!!!
