Every Foul Spirit

Every Foul Spirit

Soon, this had progressed to children. Three kids dead so far and counting, two more of unknown whereabouts still. Katie Franklin had followed the story from within the walls of her prison at that time, the Ransom Mental Health Facility—formerly the Ransom Sanitarium for the Criminally Insane, back in the high old days of lunacy reform—where she found herself involuntarily committed by the state of Maine after her father’s tormented heart had finally given out on him. The headline floating there on the staff-monitored, activity ward computer screen froze her blood when she first glimpsed it.

Insane love Sapphire pov Insane That's what I hear people calling me behind my back But when was I not insane. Then when I came to know I was thrown away by my parent's into a bin. Then when I didn't speak a word for a week when children at the orphanage bullied me. Then when I slept for days under a tree or anything that covered my head and the passer-by’s just stared. Or then when Andro left me after showing me what you mean by the word love.

Pearl of his Heart

Pearl of his Heart

she said. …. Jason and Cain were walking through the dark corridor of the asylum. It was dimly lit and while there were several rooms on their sides, all of them were empty. Except one. “We kept him here,” Cain said, pointing at the occupied room. “He’s completely cuckoo.” Jason peered into the room through the grill bar. Heath was sitting on the bed, rocking back and forth with his legs crossed. He was quiet but his eyes were totally white and his once neat hair was a mess. Jason clapped his hands but Heath did not respond. Instead, he was staring at the wall, not blinking at all.

Wow- a different type of romance. It has a hint of supernatural that led away from its cliche troupe. I am looking forward for Jason and Alya's progress in romance. The grammar is good as well. I look forward to more chaps!

This books needs to be on top. As expected of teatae, she never disappoints with her suspense and mystery along with the romance which feels so real. Although it's more of a romance but its all worth it. I don't feel regret buying coins to read this gem. Why the review limit is so short though? 😭😭

Chasing Poisonous

Chasing Poisonous

"You know how bad work stress can be these days." "Yeah, I agree." Emily supports and I look back at her, waiting for her to spice up Becky's theory. "You know, my friend used to obsess over Iron man so much that she started imagining herself to be Pepper. You know, it was close to a kind of erotomania. Then she had to visit a psychiatrist for her treatment." She shrugs and I see Becky listening to her keenly as if she is giving her some kind of life lessons. "It can be worst sometimes, like in Nikki's case. Where people come out with some crazy shitty stories. Oh, my god! Who knows, it can be a case of schizophrenia." She observes me with a weird glance and I roll my eyes. "I knew Nikki had

Dear Stranger, Kiss Me at My Husband's Wedding.

Dear Stranger, Kiss Me at My Husband's Wedding.

The kind that clawed out of my chest violently. I clapped loudly like an unhinged king entertained by his favorite servant. “Good. Fucking good.” The Major Domo continued calmly, “An asylum, sir. Money can buy many things, including fabricated diagnoses and permanent confinement.” That made me laugh even harder. Jesus Christ. I loved this old psychopath. I stepped closer and grabbed his shoulder roughly, shaking him once with excitement. “You locked Callista’s family in a fucking asylum?” “Yes, sir.” “They’ll go insane in there.”

Silent Madness

Silent Madness

note that this is illegal. With a deep breath, Athena clicked on the files Jay had sent her, and a series of mugshots filled her screen. Five faces stared back at her, each with a haunting story to tell. The first inmate, Karam Abigal, sent a shiver down Athena's spine. The sheer brutality of his crimes, the annihilation of an entire family, shook her to her core. It was chilling to read that he suffered from depression and schizophrenia, mental illnesses that seemed to contribute to the unimaginable acts he had committed. His impending death in five months added another layer of gravity to the situation.

The Heaviness in the Air

The Heaviness in the Air

I knew exactly why she shuddered Winterhaven with something that he didn't even want to think about, let alone health impossible extended family members in. Winter Haven was where all the criminally insane were held. It was as close to an actual sanatarium or insane asylum that was legally possible. Basically, it was nothing more than a jail for people who were held mentally incompetent to stand trial. He had actually had to go there a few times to deal with cases. It was not something that he ever wanted to do again. The things that he managed to see while he was there still caused a few bad dreams. Winter Haven was basically nothing more than what you would expect from a nightmare.

The Death That Drove Him Insane

The Death That Drove Him Insane

Frowning, he kicked open the guest room doors one by one. "What kind of sick game are you playing now, Helen? Do you think I've spoiled you so much that you'll get away with this?" I followed him upstairs, watching as he stopped before a locked door. There was a huge pool of dried blood under the doorframe. … Back then, Daniel had me locked up in this villa to quit my "addiction". Afraid that I would run away, he only allowed me to bring a few pairs of underwear and pajamas. At first, I could still roam the villa. When the headaches hit, I would pace around the hallway. If the pain was too much for me to handle, I would bang my head against the wall to try to alleviate it.

“But yes, you’re right. It’s fake. I do have a bit of a checkered past, mostly white-collar crimes. Insider trading, embezzlement, money laundering, that sort of thing. When I was turned, I felt like a god and thought I could do whatever I wanted. I got caught and was going to go to jail. You know a bit of how that is and know how it could’ve ended badly so I managed to disappear and change my name. I’ve learned my lesson. I’m mostly on the straight and narrow now.” “Okay, so then why did you take so long to get me out of there?” “Do you realize some mental health facilities there are in Kansas City, private and otherwise? Not to mention the surrounding areas! The girls had no idea which one
