Alpha Connor Finley BlackPaw of the BlackPaw pack is starting to have an increasing problem with rogues. They’ve been testing the security fencing around the pack trying to find their vulnerable spots. BlackPaw increased their patrols and brought all pack members closer to the center of town where they had an underground shelter for emergencies. He needed help so he called a neighboring ally, the Shadow Mountain pack that was located about an hour away. Alpha Kelvin Shadow dispatched two squads of his elite shadow warriors to assist the BlackPaw pack.

So, believe it or not, I actually enjoy patrols. Training, no. Patrols, yes. Training means working on strengths and skills I don’t really have; I’d even go as far as calling myself a pacifist. I just don’t like violence and prefer to avoid it at all costs, even if it’s to defend myself. Defending Jennifer on the other hand is a different matter, and now that she’s carrying our pup, I do want to be able to protect them from anything. Patrols are different though. Everyone eighteen and over is required to do patrol shifts. This is so everyone contributes to protecting the pack. It’s not a hard job. Dozens of large dogs were lying around the garden in small groups, lazily sunbathing. The moment I walked in, all the dogs rushed at me as if I were a massive steak, happily rubbing against my chest. In the middle of my confusion, I felt someone pat my butt. I spun around, but there was no one there; only a silver-white Alaskan Malamute sitting behind me, staring with eyes full of possessiveness. "They all really like you. Looks like you'll do just fine taking care of them." The sudden voice startled me. A man in a tailcoat walked over with a polite smile and gave me a small nod. He looked like the owner.

Keira was walking her pet in the garden along with Johanna's pet, Hunter. Lovie barked and dashed toward Violet and Harvey, dragging Keira with her. She nearly tripped, but the two strong dogs stopped and jumped toward Harvey, wiggling their tails. She groaned and nearly scolded the dogs.

He's very fond of Apphia and Ziora and enjoys training and going for runs with them. I exhale, ready to go to my Luna, when I hear a roar. I see a white panther__ cub, running towards us. I watch in awe as it leaps past us but suddenly falls to the ground with a thud, as though it collides with an invisible wall. The cub gets up, and I recognize it. Shai. "Shai, are you okay?" I ask, running my hand in her fur. She snarls at me. The panther cub is whimpering, scratching the air in front of her.

Saturday I was at Happy Paws by nine. I changed in the volunteer room, the electric blue shirt with the Happy Paws logo in white block letters across the chest, slightly too big the way it always was, knotted at my hip. Charcoal cargo pants, deep side pockets already loaded with treats, phone in the velcro pocket at my thigh, a folded slip lead tucked near my knee. Beat-up white Converse. Volunteer badge clipped to my pocket, laminated and slightly crooked, name in thick black Sharpie.

He scratched her bouncing rump as he tried to get inside the house. “Let me in and I’ll give you a hash brown.”

But today, I was determined to win them over. I gathered the pups in the clearing, their curious eyes following my every move. The clearing was a sun-dappled expanse of grass and wildflowers, surrounded by towering trees that whispered secrets in the breeze. The youngest pup, barely able to toddle, clung to the hand of an older sibling, while the eldest stood with their arms crossed, a curious eyebrow raised. Their expressions were a mix of boredom, curiosity, and suspicion, a challenge I was eager to tackle.

Their leader is a black wolf with blue eyes, and he wants to stand on the high cliff and declare war on his opponent. The Red Wolve did not dare to stop but only dared to lean to the side. Wolves usually have gray and yellow fur, but with wolves having white, black, and red fur is very special. The black wolf that received the order to distract Windy was just a wolf with yellow fur because to distract the opponent, he disguised himself to look like Ezra.
