~Arielle~ “Run and never return!” the sound of my father's voice pierced through my ears as my feet stabbed the wet, puddled ground of the woods. My chest burned with something–something hard, and my stomach churned with something unfathomable. Fear, you would say? It was deeper than that. My footsteps came hard. Fast. Wet leaves brushing my skin as my feet stabbed deeper into the woods. My breaths had come in ragged gasps, trying to escape the traffickers that had invaded the village.

Just hearing his name sent chills down my spine. Everyone knew about him, but no one had ever actually seen him. No photos. No videos. Nothing. It was like he lived in the shadows on purpose. The Pawmoon Pack was the biggest pack in the north. People said they were fierce and strict, and most of them had been soldiers once. They didn’t take kindly to strangers, and they followed their rules without question. Some even said they worked with dark mages and witches, using magic to protect their land and punish their enemies.

Chad smiled. “Family is family, Chad. I see how you treat Dove and Zoei. You’re afraid that if you blink, they will disappear?” Jo clapped his brother on the shoulder for emphasis. “Family first. We got a little off track. Are you certain you don’t want any of my wolves help? Zoei or Caius would be perfect for handling the Royal’s abilities and battle tactics.” Chad offered. Knowing there was no way Chad was taking ‘No’ for an answer, he smiled at him.

I hoped that my eyes were playing a serious prank on me I turned backwards and there was no longer a dog, but a man, I tripped and fell to the ground, while he stood just at my foot, and stared deeply into my eyes I stared back at him, with a shaky body Fear was painted all over my face, when I realized that, he had same grey eyes as the dog, Oh no! He is the wolf! No, it can't be…werewolves aren't real' I said to myself 'They're Fictional, they aren't real'

Mike nods at me and we leave the building together. Zeus and I are both excited to get to Patty’s to see our girls. I feel like I am speeding like a mad man but only crawling like a turtle. It seems like it takes forever to get there. Finally I pull up to Patty’s. The diner is packed, and I see Patty inside hustling about. I look into the surrounding trees and see the glowing eyes of several of my pack members, in wolf form, patrolling the space to protect their Luna.

Perrin I hadn’t actually ever been nervous for patrol before. Well, not at least since the first time I ever did it. I ran my first patrol with my dad and Beta Mark. We had shifted just before sundown, ran for hours in wolf-form, and it was amazing. I had never looked back. Patrol was a pack obligation that I really enjoyed fulfilling. It felt like the most natural part of being in the pack, really. At least until the Sacred Call. Except for tonight, I wasn’t looking forward to it at all. Not that I didn’t mind a challenge. But something was just so… unsettling, about Justin.

Pooch was so excited to see Brady, he couldn’t help but laugh as the little guy squirmed in his arms and licked his face. He was glad he already had the leash attached to his collar so he could set him down. Even then, the dog jumped up and down, pawing at his leg, wanting so badly to have Brady’s full attention.

“Make sure beta JP doesn’t cross the border.” Luka opened a mind link and informed all the warriors on border patrol. The warriors were confused, and others even wondered what their beta has done to have their alpha prevent him from leaving. It must have been bad. They thought. PJ’s wolf was running like crazy going straight to the woods, Luka was right on his tail with his big black wolf, he was so big that when he ran his paws made a thudding sound as they hit the ground, leaving behind grains of sand flying with each step he took.

But it's just not home. But while I was at the Royal Pack, they helped create something for my wolf side so that I wouldn’t feel so disabled. It’s kind of like a wheelchair for my wolf. They strap my hind legs onto these pole things and then strapped it to my torso and the pole things have wheels so that way I can still run in my wolf form. It took a while to learn how to do it but once I got it, my wolf was thrilled. I’m checking out our patrols right now. We lost a lot of men during that fight a month ago and lots of our people are pulling double shifts to make up the difference while we’re waiting for Alpha King Kai to send us some new people.

His fur sizzled with smoke and a burnt patch of fur was under his jaw. He shook himself and the fur fell to the ground, turning to cinders. The pendant wouldn't let him touch it. His eyes glowed bright as he tried to heal the patch but it didn't work. He looked at me angrily and charged. He was faster than lightning– the Sapphire was enhancing his speed–and I had no idea when he smacked me with his paw. I felt a bone in my neck crack and I was on the floor. In a blur, all I could see were paws and claws going at my skin, tearing my fur and ripping my flesh.
