It was a being of pure malice—its form unrecognizable, a swirling mass of darkness that pulsed with raw, ancient power. The ground quaked beneath them as the Shadow took shape, and with it, the Shadowframe itself began to collapse. Ivy staggered back, her voice cracking. "This wasn’t supposed to happen.
