Their Human

Their Human

"The woman Caeser loved was human so one night he lost his control and bit her. Instead of dying, he turned her into a vampire and when they had their first child, the vampire population grew from then. Vampires led the island and would occasionally go to the human world to get some blood. Animal blood was an option, but not satisfactory. And just like humans, vampires are also curious... But one vampire got curious at the wrong place. She tampered with the world we vampires can never experience. The world after death." Alexander stood up and walked to a shelf, pulling out a thick blue book. It had no title or author and it looked like it had been there for centuries. The blue was starting t

Gwen breathed out. "Yeah, that's not even half of it." I walked to an old wooden bookcase filled with DVDs. "I wanted you to take a look at these movies and pick out a few you'd like to watch." I motioned for her to come over and hoped the movies would be a nice distraction from having to relive my past. Gwen walked toward me and skimmed through my collection. "Wait! You have the movie ‘Interview with the Vampire’?! I haven't seen this in ages. We have to watch it, and you have to tell me everything that’s factually incorrect,” she pleaded excitedly.

Midnight Sin (A Rejected Mate's Romance)

Midnight Sin (A Rejected Mate's Romance)

“I found this book outside. It has all the answers.” I furrow my eyebrows together. “What are you talking about, Alex?” His attention turns back to the weathered book in his hands. He flips through the pages until he finds the one he’s looking for. “Look at this.” He hands the book to me. I scan the words, latching onto the ones at the very top. How To Kill A Vampire. Suspicion descends over me. “Alex, are you sure this is even real? It sounds a little made-up.”

The Queen Of All Vampire's Kings

As he tells me, I have my lips opened, not actually able to believe everything he's saying. Can this actually be real? Is it true, all he's told me? I can not help but keep asking me these questions in my head. I watch him with an unbelievable gaze. I mean, I am looking at him and wondering if this was the Hillary that I had met on the first day I stepped foot inside Eclipse Publishing company for my interview? And is that the Nicholas I met then? They have been Vampires from day one and I had no clue.

I could feel the dark magic flowing through it and unlike the day I met Arwan and Fen, it felt like a part of me instead of a foreign invader. As if sensing me not knowing where to start or how to find the information I needed, the book pages began to flutter. I watched curiously as the fluttering increased and the pages started rapidly turning before suddenly stopping. It had turned itself to a page filled with an image of a vampire. It looked human, if it hadn't been for the heading, I wouldn't have known what it was. I whispered thanks to book, shaking my head at the notion of talking to it, and eagerly began to read.

A Vampire's Bargain

A Vampire's Bargain

He enlightened her. "Breed? There are breeds? Aren't you all the same?" Adrianna was dumbfounded to know that vampires have different breeds. He got up and went to grab a book from his shelves, and hand a heavy book to Adrianna. "This will help you because I am not good at explaining things and facts." Said Alaric. Her palms touched the cover of the book which looked antique and royal. She read the title 'Vamoose', called Vampire in latin. "You didn't tell me you have kids." Alaric asked her.

I took the plate from him with a thought that annoying him would not be a good idea for me as the situations around me wasn’t very favourable. Elvin sat close to me and very calmly he looked into my eyes and he said, “You remember, the other day at the book store you were telling me how desperately you wanted to be a vampire how much you wished for it to be true?” I nodded in a yes, then he continued saying how the destiny worked right for us and we met each other. I gave him a confused look, he paused and smiled while looking straight into my eyes and almost mumbled something which was not enough audible for me. I said, “Sorry I couldn’t hear you, can you please repeat”. I could see he was

Her Vampire Mate

Her Vampire Mate

There was only two kind of people who knew about our existence, the vampires and witches, but we never got across to one another, we all just stayed within our boundaries , we don't meet them, they don't meet us. I got into my black Toyota corolla sport car, I needed to go simple, the last thing I needed was some nosey human sticking in my business and asking stupid ass questions. I sped down the highway, sped was an over statement, the car kept stopping along the road, I was only minutes away from the office, the car backfired again. This was the little consequence I had to suffer for my actions and dad was basically punishing me for refusing to join the family business, and most importantl

Last Vampire.

Last Vampire.

Despite the strangeness of the situation, Melia found herself finding his astonishment rather amusing. "Vampire..." he murmured, his gaze shifting towards Melia. "Perfect!" he exclaimed, throwing his arms up in a rare moment of elation. "It explains everything. It explains why you're still here, alive. Why... Or maybe... How do you become a vampire?" he asked abruptly, his curiosity getting the best of him. Melia arched an eyebrow and crossed her arms. "I'm not going to tell you that," she replied firmly, her voice as cool as a winter breeze.

Frequently Asked Questions

There's something deliciously stubborn about books that age like a fine, slightly dangerous perfume, and 'Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles' is exactly that. I picked it up again on a rainy night with a mug of something too strong and found myself hooked by the voice—so intimate, wry, and haunted. The narration drags you into moral gray areas: suffering, desire, loneliness, and the monstrous ways people survive. It reads like a private confession that insists you lean in.

Beyond the gorgeous prose, the novel still speaks to modern life. The queer subtext that used to be whispered is louder now, and the exploration of identity, consent, and power feels urgent in an era of messy public discourse. Plus, with new adaptations and conversations around representation, revisiting Rice's world helps me see which parts of vampire myth are timeless and which need rethinking. If you love mood, philosophical angst, and characters who feel alive even when they can't die, it's worth the read tonight.
