It was a ghastly sight as the right side of her face was a forgotten mass of tissue and blood. A man dressed in all black, walked in. His face was emotionless and cruel. She whimpered "please... I'm begging you. Please, let me go. I have a grandma and a son to look after. Please." He smiled, the shadow he stood in protected him from her words. "Really? Are you sure about that? What's the consequence of lying?" He asked. "Why are you doing this?!" "Because, my dear, I have a plan and it's working just as I've planned. You're just a pawn, my creature. Yes, my creature. Don't worry, you'll love the end."

Morgan to his cell, Angelic promised her dad that she would do everything to prove his innocence. The next day, William and Angelicp went back to Miss Eleonor Catwood's lab to see the result of her study about the candy. Miss Catwood was a pharmaceutical scientist who had been used to examining different types of medicines. She looked old at her age of 45 yet her brain was so clever that she was able to describe the candy by just looking at it. She said that it was not really a candy, it was formulated to kill human system particularly the internal organs including the major parts such as respiratory and nervous system. The candy was just a trick to cover the deadly particles.

I pondered. Slowly, I turned back to see the man who had met me in the kitchen. He was staring at me with those dark soulful eyes. But why did the man call him alpha? I asked myself. He can't be Giovanni, right? As the realization began to sink into me, my eyes widened. "Y-your w-water…" I stammered. "Take it back. I don't need it anymore" He spoke with eyes staring intensely into mine. I stood there staring at him, unable to form a single word. My subconscious kept on screaming that the man I'd been referring to as a sexy giant was the alpha, Giovanni.

It was sharp, scratchy, like a knife dragging across glass. Jack turned his head, wincing. Emerging from the shadows of a tower of crushed washing machines was a group of figures. They weren't rats. They were humanoid, but twisted. The leader was a man—or what used to be a man—with skin the color of wet clay. His right eye was missing, covered by a crude leather patch, but his left eye glowed with a predatory yellow light. He wore armor made of flattened license plates and held a heavy, rusted iron crowbar wrapped in barbed wire.

The thought of her walking away from him, of her turning her almond-dark eyes away from his… it gnawed at his insides with a savagery no bullet or blade had ever caused. He pushed himself up, restless, tugging off the bloodstained black shirt he still wore. The fabric peeled away stiffly, dried streaks of red clinging to the skin of his forearms. He tossed it carelessly on the floor before unbuttoning a fresh crisp white shirt. The contrast was sharp—his tall frame cloaked once more in elegance, his dark trousers pressed, his cuffs gleaming with silver. The outside world would see a polished, powerful man. But inside, his veins pulsed with the weight of a fear he refused to admit.

Ajax raised his hand to the opening and Zayn tilt his head in rage. There was no way he would succumb to the vices of the enemy. "I'm not going anywhere with you," Zayn tightened his fist once again and Ajax scoffed and said, "Agreed, you're powerful but witches would always be a pain in the ass. A good reason they were destroyed from the Inhuman world" 'Ihuman world'. Could he be referring to the wolf world? He had no idea and an opening had appeared silently behind him as he made to move at Ajax, the force from within pulled him inside.

The Inhumane picked up his hammer which was many times bigger and longer than him, dragged it over to where the Bounty Collector knelt, about hitting the bounty collector with his own weapon— series of brown spikes airborne towards the Inhumane but it was seemly deflected by Jared’s air manipulation to the henchman who made it, the one with the brown dreadlocks packed upward however he sidestepped his body away from the hit.

That means the person was talking to him. “Hey, wait a minute, Wait, please,” the man called. Reno’s steps stopped, then he turned to the source of the voice. “You were talking to me, right? Does that mean you can see me?” he asked enthusiastically. “Yeah, if I can’t see you. Then who am I talking to?” Reno asked back. Actually, from the beginning Reno realized that it was not an ordinary human, judging by his feet that were not perfectly on the ground and also his pale face showed that he was an invisible creature.

“At least special enough to be a delicacy for inhumans.” I hadn’t realized that I was facing the door until I turned around to meet Herry’s eyes again. “If I cut myself right here…right now…I’d probably lure every inhuman within a three-block radius to this place. I have to wear scent-blocking fragrances and clothing to keep my essence from driving them mad.”
