I reply. “I am so happy for you. After Tatiana, I thought he would never find happiness with another woman, I am glad that you came along,” Irina says as she dances to the music. She must be already tipsy because Irina usually avoids mentioning Tatiana when I am around. Hearing her name being mentioned is like a slap in the face, I know it is absurd to be jealous of a dead woman but I can’t help to dislike her. I try to shake the feeling off, I am here, I am Dimitri’s wife, that is all that counts.
