Deception In Silk

Deception In Silk

"Alexander, if what you say is true, then I need proof. I need concrete evidence that you are who you claim to be. Show me that you're not just a powerful man with a hidden agenda." Alexander's eyes gleamed with renewed determination. "I understand your skepticism, Amelia. And I respect that you want evidence before making such a life-altering decision. I am ready to provide you with the proof you seek." He walked to his desk and retrieved a black velvet box, elegantly adorned with intricate gold trimmings. With a slow, deliberate movement, he opened the box, revealing a stack of legal documents. He handed them to Amelia, who scanned through the pages, her eyes widening with each revelation.

Seduction under silk sheets

Seduction under silk sheets

I added. He groaned and once again, his lips came crashing down on mine. His lips slipping through as he kissed with so much intensity. It didn’t take long, before I tasted iron in my mouth. I was bleeding but I ignored it. His fingers crept towards my clit and a moan escaped my lips as he rubbed around the edges, in a slow clock-wise motion. His eyes were locked on mine and as if he didn’t want me screaming my lungs out, he would trap my mouth with his, as soon as I was about to plead.

Tethered To His Shadow

Tethered To His Shadow

CLICK. The dark iron mechanism melted instantly under the heat of her royal magic, snapping the heavy latch with a sharp hiss. Kira lifted the heavy lid, revealing dozens of ledger scrolls tied with crimson silk, resting alongside velvet pouches filled with rare, pitch-black coins stamped with the emblem of a sun sinking beneath stylized waves.

The Cry of a Lycan

The Cry of a Lycan

"Listen to me and drink from my cup of wisdom. You can either be a witch or a werewolf. Never both.” A humorless chuckle escaping my lips. The book must stay. "Tell me more." I inclined my head to the sprawling view of Silverstone Estate just beyond my window. "Burn the book." She said it again, and I nearly lost it. "What is your infatuation with the book?!" I groaned, my fingers knotting into my hair as I dragged them tight against my scalp. A restless, violent static crawled beneath my skin, making my hands twitch and curl as they desperately hunted for something, anything to grab, to smash, to tear apart.

The Ledger Of Cinder And Silk

The Ledger Of Cinder And Silk

She reached into her pocket and pulled out the small, cracked vial, the one containing the red mist of the ledger's author. "You want a heart?" Elara yelled, her voice cracking with pain. "Have this one!" She didn't throw it at the king. She threw it into the fountain of black oil. "No!" Thomas screamed, lunging to stop her. The moment the red mist touched the oil, the garden didn't explode. It went silent. The oil turned from black to a blinding, angry crimson. The author of the ledger hadn't just been a scribe; he had been a sorcerer who hated the king. His "last word" wasn't a secret; it was a curse.

Silk and Power(The reborn)

Silk and Power(The reborn)

The iron gates clicked shut behind me with a heavy, final sound. The sound echoed through the rainy valley like the door of a tomb locking out the dead. I stripped off my wet silk robe right there in the marble foyer, letting the expensive fabric pool on the floor like a shed skin. I refused to let a single thread that Dante’s pleading fingers had touched remain on my body. Underneath, my white tailored suit was immaculate—not a single drop of rain had managed to stain the crisp linen. I ran my fingers over the lapel, tracing the faint, familiar pull of the scar hidden beneath my silk shirt. It was my anchor. A reminder of the night the man kneeling in the mud had left me to burn in the wrec

Court Of Sins And Twilight

Court Of Sins And Twilight

EDINA POV The silk was softer than anything I’d ever worn. Cool against my skin, light as air—but the weight of what it meant settled heavily in my chest. I stood still as Feena fluttered around me like a one-woman storm, her fingers tucking, adjusting, smoothing the folds of the pale violet and pink gown that clung to me like mist. The gold detailing wrapped around my waist like vines, delicate and intricate, catching the candlelight with each breath I took.

Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

“The thread is good, strong Feng silk, but it’s not steel. Right, Madam Qing? Qinglong?” The woman looked up with a faint smile and a bound codex in her hands. Anzi had never been a scholar, but her eyes widened at the sight. A book? A whole book, out here past the advanced technology of the Empire? Feng civilization was still dozens, perhaps hundreds of broken up territories ruled by constantly fighting warlords. How could they have enough peace and stability to encourage scholarly arts? Or was that another lie, she wondered, meant to make the Feng look primitive. Past the veneer of the Empire’s teachings, she knew so little of the world…

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

All of these books must have come with the house. My fingers stop on a copper bookend, and a rush of warmth tingles down my arm into my fingertips. I pull them back with a hiss, clutching them against my chest as they throb. Three fingerprint-sized indents glisten on the bookend, now slightly warped from my touch. Copper and I are not friends. I much prefer iron. Silver is great to work with, seeing as I don’t have to worry about the side effects since I don’t have a wolf. But copper is–

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.
