His body was immediately engulfed in flames, and the bright crimson light of his fire shared in the task of the Light Grass, illuminating the surroundings to a greater degree. *Roar* Several humanoid figures were shaken by the fiery figure they intended to attack, and their resolve was put to the task almost immediately. How were they supposed to attack someone who was on fire? “Since you’re here, there is no need for you to think anymore,” the fiery figure stated, his blue eyes still discernable even from among the flame.

Redemption and Sacrifice The Flaming Altar and Iris With the altar's golden radiance illuminating her path, Iris staggered as the searing heat enveloped her. As though alive, the flames danced high into the air, crackling and spitting sparks. Her mark pulsated in time with her pounding heart, burning brighter than before. She used her arm to protect her eyes, but the intense heat poured into her body, making each step feel more difficult. With her voice scarcely audible over the raging flames, she told herself to keep moving forward.

Every corners of my mind seemed to speak by themselves and my heart seemed to be in ablaze. I stared blankly at the bright light in house in daze. It was like my eyes were roving around for something which I was not there. Something beyond its reach it persisted and jammed my heart with queer thoughts. In this night, I felt like embracing somebody. My heart felt lonely and devoid while my whole body seemed into be in flames.

Qusack was still scolding Ingham when everywhere went silent and still. We heard a low wolf growl.

Flames of desire He cupped her breast with his hands as he aggressively devoured her nipples with his mouth, one after another. "Oh fuck," she moaned and slid her hands down his chest to the taut line of his abdomen, and made every muscle that made him manly ache for her even more, he rolled his tongue in circular motion around her nipples and sent more shivers down her spine.

He took another slow drag from his cigarette before exhaling, the smoke curling lazily in the dimly lit gym. “Not all flames die out quickly, son,” he mused, tapping the ash off his cigarette. “Some need a slow, controlled burn before they truly turn to ash.” I clenched my jaw. “I don’t have the patience for slow.” He hummed in amusement, his sharp eyes watching me like he already knew how this would end. “Then make her burn the way you want. But be careful not to get burned yourself.” I let out a dry chuckle, rolling my shoulders to shake off the irritation settling in my bones.

Saavi had put her full body weight on Dhruv who held her like he was protecting her. "Dhruv," Saavi called him running her index finger on his bicep. "Yes, love." "Why do you call me Ember To My Flame?" she asked remembering when she was about to commit suicide Dhruv stopped her and confessed Saavi was The Ember to his Flame. "Interesting Question, love." Dhruv smiled before asking, "Do you know what Ember is?" Saavi raised her head from his chest and nodded vigorously. She answered her husband as she said, "Yes, a piece of wood or coal that is not burning, but is still red and hot after a fire has died."

Third-person POV At that moment, Frank was sitting in his office, reviewing the investigation report his subordinates had sent him. The first report was a miscarriage report, which clearly stated that Darcy had suffered a miscarriage on the day of the fire. The cause of the miscarriage had also been determined through investigation and reviewing surveillance footage. Frank had shaken off Darcy's hand during the fire and hadn't heard her cries for help. The second report stated that Johanna had been deliberately spreading rumors to manipulate public opinion around this time.

The strong part of herself that no one, not even Christopher, had ever been able to completely destroy, though she’d allowed it to be banished temporarily. Alaric gave her the thumb drive which she connected to her laptop. In it there were video files. Several of them, as well as data files. Alaric told her it was a good idea to copy everything to the computer so she could make a second thumb drive and keep it safe…. Just in case. After she’d done that, she took a deep breath and clicked on the first video. Though black-and-white, the quality seemed surprisingly good. When she heard the discussion between Christopher and Chloe, she actually gasped out loud.
