That crawling, hungry sound that never faded once you heard it. I did not break the kiss. I raised one hand. Fire answered. Not weak and sputtering this time. It roared up my arms and leaped from my palms. White at the core. Blue at the edges. Pure hellfire. It hit the first wave and turned them to ash. Their shrieks cut short. Bodies folded in on themselves and fell to nothing. Smoke smeared across the memory like charcoal rubbed into paper.

I get out of my boots and fire pants. “Come on you cannot be serious why would you give up on the chase to get all the girls happy to throw themselves at firefighters? Come on there is a whole sea of woman out there even the unfuckables. Just put a hood over their heads or fuck them from behind. You could never get bored of that.” O’Conner’s says following me. Marcus yelped, scrambling backward as fire licked at his fur. I stared at my burning hands in shock—they didn't hurt. The flames felt like an extension of myself. "Impossible," Marcus shifted back, his eyes wide. "The suppressants should have lasted—"

The flames lick at our skin, but we push through, our determination fueling us. As we move forward, the flames shift and dance in intricate patterns, seemingly guiding our path. I can feel the energy of the fire coursing through my veins, merging with my own inner fire. I summon my strength and focus my mind, channeling my resilience to withstand the intense heat. Jericho follows suit, his eyes lock on me as we move together through the blazing inferno. He draws upon his own courage, letting it burn bright within him. With each step forward, his connection to the fire element grows stronger.

The air trembled, heat rippling through it like a heartbeat. My eyes snapped open just as the magic ignited. Fire erupted beneath me, racing up the walls, devouring the air. I stumbled up, choking on smoke. Ember stood in the center of the room, framed by the blaze, her silhouette sharp and perfect against the light. Her eyes burned with both colors now—black and gold—and her smile was something beautiful and terrifying. “You should’ve never trusted the flame.”

With a final flourish, she extinguished the flames, leaving only a faint wisp of smoke in their wake. Elara, the newcomer with the Celestial Flames, stepped forward next. Her presence commanded attention, and her eyes burned with a fierce intensity. "My power is the Celestial Flames," she said, her voice ringing with authority. "These flames are imbued with celestial energy, capable of healing and destruction."
