Kingdoms Reign

Kingdoms Reign

I replaced, touching the amulet that laid on my chest. "Wait, you knew she was going to burn the castle to the ground?" Aris asked shockingly, Isla rolled her eyes accordingly as Aris spoke. "For God sakes girl, keep up. The Queen had every right to burn the entire kingdom down and Princess Celeste has every right to get revenge, it was her mother's last wish." Isla replied. We weaved through the trees on the dirt roads, as I stared blankly at Isla's statement. "Her last words?"

Kingdom On Fire

Kingdom On Fire

Of course, she was grateful for the fact that it was Athelstan rather than some Pagan, as not only did she feel safe knowing he was appointed to be her guardian angel but also closer to home. He refrained from initiating any conversation, observing how utterly exhausted she seemed. So, he simply bid her goodnight before leaving her to grapple with a restless sleep, her thoughts swiftly morphing into haunting nightmares. Her mind seemed to replay the darkest events from her past, intermingling and reshuffling them in a way that left her breathless upon waking in terror. The knight who once tried to violate her but failed materialized in her dreams, succeeding this time, inflicting harm repeat

The Blood Bound Legacy

The Blood Bound Legacy

Inside the trench, floating just above the stones, was a single object. A crown. Not of gold or jewels, but of bone and iron and blood. The Vestige leader pointed one skeletal finger at it. “The Crown of the Firstborn,” he intoned. “Claim it, and you claim dominion over what lies beyond the Door. Claim it, and you become the heir not just of Guardians... but of the Forgotten Kings.” I felt Maxwell stiffen beside me. Barin swore under his breath. Nima made a sound like a choked sob. Because we all understood. The war wasn’t just about surviving the First Door.

The Howling Throne

The Howling Throne

And yet, their eyes burned with something deep, something cursed. Sienna’s breath hitched. “The Forgotten.” Elior had heard the stories—warriors who had sought the power of The Crown but had been lost to it. Their souls had never found peace, bound to the ruins for eternity. One of them stepped forward. Its voice was like shattered glass grinding together. “The blood of kings runs through you.” Elior felt a pull, a sensation deeper than fear. He gritted his teeth. “And if it does?” The Forgotten warrior lifted an ethereal blade, black as the void. “Then you must prove yourself.”

Throne of Blood

Throne of Blood

If we ever found ourselves on opposing sides of a conflict, he wouldn't think twice about crushing me. The four kings and their heirs occupy the rest of the chairs: Pakstan of the North with Pharaoah, Theo of the South with Thorn, River of the East, and me, and lastly, Nathan of the fuckin' West with his second son, Elliot. The latter gives me a scowl, and I return it without blinking. He is a little younger than father in age, but he is still tall, and his grey eyes are exceedingly penetrating. Without sure, he is the one who proposed Bella be wed to one of his kids, who are more repulsive than he is.

Shadowed Crown

Shadowed Crown

Her smile, laced with blood, looked haunting. A Haunt swept in, scattering the cash and gold bars from the car. Sparks flew, and the flames roared to life with a loud whoosh. I pulled a gold bar from my pocket. "Hear me, infant spirits, it's time for our final showdown!" The winds howled as I watched my mom wail in despair. Her tears were for her wealth, not a shred of worry for me. I spun around and plunged into the swirling darkness without a second thought.

A Kingdom of Corruption and Chaos

A Kingdom of Corruption and Chaos

"Everything that Celestia and the Alliance have told you about this war and why it's happening is a lie." I narrowed my eyes on him, but he just took a breath before looking me square in the eye and continuing. "You saw the people in there. You saw how it's driving them mad, and forcing them to shift into their alter forms. The Beastial Kingdom didn't start this war; Celestia did. They corrupted our king on the day they were supposed to sign a peace treaty. They did something to him that forced his dragon to the surface in a blind rage, instantly voiding the treaty between kingdoms, and therefore restarting the war that we were trying to end. That king came back to the Beastial kingdom after

The Immortal King: Lord of the Dark Realm

“Date unknown. Please specify temporal anchor.” Ren looked at me. “You’ll need to give the system the actual date. Speak it clearly.” “Use the Feast of Saint Morwen, 1143,” I said. “That’s when the village celebrated. The day I wore her the iron ring.” The system beeped. “Temporal anchor accepted. Phase correction applied.” Through the intercom, Ren’s voice was tight, almost breathless. “You… you’ve chosen… 1143?” I only nodded, silent. He didn’t know what it meant — and I didn’t need him to.
