My Enemy [BL]

My Enemy [BL]

I felt like I was drowning. My arms were thrashing about, but no matter how hard I kicked, the water kept dragging me under. My lungs burned as I struggled to push up to the surface, desperate to escape the laughter echoing above. It was sharp and mocking—much worse than the weight of the water pressing down on my chest. Panic hit me hard. I reached out, grasping at nothing, as the light above slipped further away. The deeper I sank, the colder it got, shadows creeping around me, drowning out even the sound of my frantic heartbeat.

Strange short stories

Strange short stories

He was no longer in the water. "It can't be! I should have expected this." It was all he could think of between his long fall and hitting the hard floor. The first thing he felt was an unbearable and unbearable pain to take care of his mind and the terrible metallic taste of blood in his mouth. In short: his ribs pierced his lungs and he (probably) died of hypothermia. The second was the instinct to go out and help your friend. The third was the strange sensation of not feeling your arms, legs, or fingers as well. In the next second, when he leans on his feet, the muscles in his arms and legs contract in pain and bring him down again. Without a pause, his lungs and stomach expelled any water

Amatucci Family

Was I so evil that I couldn't even be bothered to care that I didn't care? Sliding down towards the foot of the deprivation tank, I allowed my head to fall beneath the surface of the water. Wondered what it would feel like to stay down here long enough to drown. I could recite the different physiological reactions that happened during drowning. Could time it down to the millisecond how long I had before my brain and lungs gave out. One inhale. Flood my lungs with water. Force myself to stay at the bottom. Poison me softly

Poison me softly

I am pushed under again and kick hard, clawing at the water above me. Nobody is coming. Nobody knows I am here. The water comes up over my mouth again, and this time I do not have enough air in my lungs to stay above the surface. Is this how I die? By drowning in the ocean?

On My Ex's Brother's Bed

On My Ex's Brother's Bed

Ruby’s POV The cold water pressed in on me from every side. My arms flailed, trying to keep my head above the surface, but my right leg suddenly locked up, sending a shock of pain through my body. I gasped, swallowing a mouthful of water. My chest burned, and for a moment, everything went blurry. I tried to scream for help, but no sound came out. All I heard was the rush of water in my ears and the distant shouts from the shore. My vision narrowed, the noise around me fading away.

Night of the Rogues: Bound In Darkness

Night of the Rogues: Bound In Darkness

His brown eyes bulge in pain as the foam surrounding his lips swiftly turns red. His cries for help are mere wretched gargles. I drop to him trying to contain his shaking, but he goes into ever more violent spasms, his muscles cramping into vicious contortions. Collapsing in on himself in pure pain. Mireille stares down at me as the other two women try to help the drowning Brody. Dee is crying. There is nothing I can do. Not when there's poison in the food I was meant to be eating. That was meant to be my death. Before I can even request the already-pointless first aid kit, the panic is broken by Ryan’s grief-stricken cries as he sprints towards us.

Once I pick up an Alle book, I can’t stop reading! She is an amazing author and I loved this book. There were lots of tears, but also lots of happy loving moments as well. It’s definitely a wild ride!

Amazing story! I love how original books one and two are! This book, though, captures it all! The love, laughter, setbacks, and victories with all emotions you can think of you will feel in this book. Thank you, author!

Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

As I did my peripheral vision saw Jared, from the next tower, hit the sand and sprint in my direction. I high-stepped over the shallows for as long as I could before diving in, pushing through the water with a breaststroke that kept my head above the water so I could watch my victim. She was still up, but wouldn't be much longer. She looked almost peaceful, except for the panic in her eyes. Most people think of a drowning person as someone waving their arms and splashing around, calling for help, but it isn't true. A person struggling might do that, but someone in imminent danger of going under doesn't move much, and the brain, totally consumed with breathing at that point, won't allow for a

THE REJECTED LYCAN PRINCESS

THE REJECTED LYCAN PRINCESS

ARI I have imagined how it feels like to die. So many scenarios have gone through my mind including drowning. It's one thing to imagine and it's another to experience it. I am sinking, my limbs are usually flapping but I am still going down. The first instinct is to scream, but my mouth fills up my mouth eyes sting and the more I inhale, the more I feel like my lungs are giving up on me. No one is going to save me. At some point, I can only watch the lights above getting further and further, the heaviness growing inside me and pulling me under. The water ripples above me, but it seems like miles away. A figure is coming towards me, almost in slow motion.

My Ruthless Alpha King

My Ruthless Alpha King

I freaking couldn't see anything except the clear water of the pond as I sunk deeper and deeper to the bottom. I wiggled and wiggled my body in vain, water flooding into my lungs. I know I could swim, but it's been ages since the last time mama took me out swimming, we usually went at night. But we never trained with my legs and hands tied, but I remember enough to know that I was drowning and after going into severe shock from the ice cold temperature of the water. The pain from the lack of air as I struggled in vain, my tears mixing with the water as my body crumbled to the bottom of the pond.

I'm reading this book and so far so good!! It has great potential, up to this point which is chapter 37, I'm enjoying the book. It also look as if the main character are going to have more interactions with each other, so things are about to heat up. Great job so far author!!

So far so good, good story flow so far keeps me in the edge. What I don’t like though are the POVs that just a repetition of the scenarios. I have to scroll past it as it’s just fillers. Since it is still incomplete, I will have to put off reading this until then.

Monster Luna Writes Her Own Destiny

Monster Luna Writes Her Own Destiny

A sharp pain tore through my stomach, but it couldn’t compare to the emptiness gripping my chest. The sound of slaps echoes from my body and the surface of the water colliding fills my ears. A piercing cold sensation envelops my entire body. My vision begins to blur. Exhaustion peaks, making my body reluctant to move. Although I try to save myself, for whom else am I surviving? Nothing remains of me. Falling slowly yet surely, piercing the suffocating silence, towards the darkness that embraced me without mercy. A sense of suffocation approached, accompanied by the stinging pain of water seeping into my body.
