I nodded. Relief spread through me in a way I hadn’t felt in years. “I just… I don’t want to see him ever again. I want him locked in the past.”
“That’s where he belongs,” he said, smiling. “It’s his loss.”
I shifted in my seat. “Enough about me. What about you, Harry? You’re not married, right? Kids?”
“No kids. Not dating seriously either. Haven’t for a year,” he said with a small shrug.
